I’m Ellen, I’m a freelance raconteuse, and I live in New York City. I grew up in the mighty Midwest and retain, somewhere, the idea that maybe everyone has some good inside. (I know, exactly what a celebrity commentator doesn’t need!) I speak fluent Spanish and lived in Madrid for a while, hence the Penelope Cruz post. My current pop culture obsessions include “The Office,” OK Go and whatever Paris Hilton does to make herself relevant. In past Web incarnations I liveblogged the Grammy Awards and declared my intention to get over Jake Gyllenhaal — not that it’s working, mind you.
But hey, you didn’t come here to learn about me, so let’s get back to the snark!

I was going to spend this Christmas in L.A. but my boyfriend’s passport was expired and he realised that the day before travelling. How F is that?! OK. I have never written a comment here but I feel the need to because you people are ridiculous! Why do you have to bash on Ellen? This is a gossip website and people are taking this way too seriously. GET A LIFE JANIE….and learn how to write a correct sentence!
