Here’s a spectacularly bad idea.  Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are supposedly planning a sensational double wedding. Oh boy!  Showbiz Spy reports that the two want to marry their boyfriends, the Madden twins, in a double wedding and make millions from all the publicity. This sounds like the kind of silly fantasizing, little girls do at slumber party, except for the making millions part.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have a 3-month-old daughter, Harlow, and have been dating since December 2006. Hilton, who has also been walking around town with a ring on her engagement finger, has been dating Benji for about 2 months (so you know it must be serious).

A source said, “Paris is doing it all for attention, as usual. It’s a publicity stunt, just like everything else.”

Somehow I think Nicole would want nothing to do with having a double wedding with Paris, anyway, so I don’t see this idea going anywhere.

Paris Hilton’s brother Barron has heard the consequences of his drunken driving spree.  Barron pleaded no contest to DUI. He was arrested in February after cops say he drove drunk (falling down drunk), showed them a fake ID and rammed his car into a Malibu gas station employee.  His blood alcohol level was .14 at the time of his arrest, nearly twice the legal limit.

A judge has ordered that 18-year-old Barron be placed on three years probation and had his license yanked for a year. He must also attend a three-month alcohol program,  visit a Los Angeles County morgue (just like Lindsay Lohan) and attend a lecture given by Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Paris (France) in the fall is a great place to be but Paris (Hilton) falling flat on her face for some is priceless.  The socialite was attempting a quick exit from a music store in Prague, the Czech Republic with boyfriend Benji Madden. But she tripped over a step or at least her size 11 feet did, and she fell face down and banged her chin on the ground. Fortunately Benji Madden avoided the fallen angel and nicely stepped over the hurt heiress.

However, chivalry wasn’t completely dead, as Madden, on realising the severity of Hilton’s fall, turned back round and helped her up.  Hilton was overheard telling Madden: “Prague…never again.”

Up until then, Hilton has been enjoying her globe-trotting holiday which has included stop-overs in London, Cape Town, Berlin and attending the Miss Turkey 2008 beauty contest in Istanbul.

Lindsey Lohan was the paid host for this years Scandinavian Style Mansion party on Friday night as a fill in for the ‘ailing’ Britney Spears.  It turns out they should have stuck with Britney, baggage and all. Lohan let down the owner, Claus Hjelmbak (above), after she threw a “hissy fit” and left. PageSix reports that Lohan showed up as scheduled to the event at which 13 posh designers were offering swag to a slew of A-listers, but flipped out when she saw Paris Hilton Handbags listed as one of the event’s sponsors. The two have recently exchanged harsh words but Lindsey was being paid to be the host.
A source said Lohan left after an hour but not empty handed,taking a few “very expensive gifts” with her. It’s all about the money with Lindsey.
Claus said, “I’m grossly disappointed in Lindsay for not fulfilling her contractual duties.” Soon after Lindsey left, Paris herself showed up (with new beau Benji Madden) and stepped into the hosting role.
Claus gave Paris a glowing review for saving the day. “Paris truly saved the night. She was very gracious to everyone — and was the life of the party!”

Brothers Joel and Benji Madden opened their first DCMA Collective store in Los Angeles with girlfriends Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton.

The  eight-months-in-the-making store off L.A.’s famous Melrose Avenue, will carry DCMA’s line [including] baby stuff, the jewelry  and the collaboration T-shirts, according to Joel.

Paris and Nicole were on hand to help their significant others entertain guests including Pete Wentz, Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg, the Hills’ Audrina Patridge and Christina Milian, who also spent time at sponsor RCause.org’s booth, a new organization that supports charities including the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation.

Nicole Richie, looking splendid in a vintage Jil Stuart gown, told People Magazine “When I was pregnant I would always wear Joel’s DCMA T-shirts, but now I’m excited to wear the girls’ stuff. And Harlow wears custom DCMA.”

Next up, Good Charlotte kicks off a four-week South African and European tour next week.

Talking about not being taken seriously. Paris Hilton felt she had to call into Ryan Seacrest’s show on KIIS, and spent the interview defending that her relationship with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden was not a hoax. Throughout the interview, Seacrest teased her that their romance was just a spoof for Ashton Kutcher’s new E! prank show, ‘Pop Fiction’, after she staged a scene with a “guru” who was later exposed to be actor Maxie Santillan for the show.

“This is not for Pop Fiction,” Hilton insisted. “It’s not a hoax!”

With Maddenby her side during the early morning telephone interview, Paris gushed:
“He’s been my friend for a couple of years now, and we’re really happy,”

The hotel heiress said it was his idea to wear the matching ‘ BM’ and ‘PH’ rings. “That was a very special present I got,” Hilton said enthusiastically. “He’s really sweet.”

Paris, also said her parents approve of the relationship. “They’re really happy for me!”

So remember folks this relationship is no hoax, more of a bad joke really.

Before the real story behind the Paris Hilton and the spiritual guide pictures broke, the paparazzis thought they had themselves a scandel when they caught Mario Lopez giving Eva Longoria a necklace while out to eat together. Turns out it probably was just another skit for Ashton Kutcher’s newest prank show on E!, Pop Fiction.   I love the concept because you just can’t trust anything at face value. And if it’s too obvious a situation one should really have doubts anyway.  We can do stories without the pictures that invade peoples’ lives.

 Paris Hilton is helping pump up the return of NBC’s My Name is Earl with a guest.  In the episode, Earl has been knocked unconscious and various things from his life and imagination are bleeding into his fevered mind. And Hilton appears as herself in a dream sequence. The episode, airs on April 3rd. Series creator Greg Garcia said,

“When we wrote the role of Paris Hilton in the script, we weren’t exactly sure who to go with for the role. But after an exhausting search we finally settled on a relatively unknown actress by the name of Paris Hilton. I can’t wait to see what she does with the role and I can’t wait for America to discover her.”

Discover her?  Yeah that’s it, Paris needs more exposure.
