Parade Magazine’s annual “What People Earn” issue is out and it was basically created to remind us how stinking poor most of us are. Hey but were rich in other ways right? Okay, okay sorry I asked!

Oprah Winfrey once again topped the list. They should just call the list what other famous people besides Oprah earned.  Oprah is so good at making money she just waved her wand at Dr. Phil and now he’s near the list too.  Well at least that’s my only explanation for how Dr. numb nuts earns that kind of money.  Good to see teen Miley Cyrus making a few dollars.  I think she might be able to take an early retirement in a few years?

Here’s the list of what some select famous people earned in 2007.

My favorite and most deserving on the list is Leona Helmsley’s dog, Trouble, who took in $12 million! When Helmsley died in 2007, she set up a trust for her beloved Maltese, giving the pooch more than she set aside for her own family. Let’s hope Trouble doesn’t fall in the footsteps of the old Bud Light beer dog, Spuds MacKenzie and avoids the pitfalls of fame and celebrity!

Okay, stupid post of the day; It looks like teen singing sensation Miley Cyrus did a little tune up on her teeth.The Hannah Montana star’s  bottom choppers have become straighter, her top front teeth are noticeably less prominent and her grin is much brighter overall these days.
Speculation is she’s had some porcelain veneers put on.  It’s no big deal really, anyone in her position would likely do the same.  But let’s hope unlike many celebs, that’s the extent of the cosmetic work she has done for a while.

Miley Cyrus and her ‘best friend’ Mandy Jiroux seem like goofy teenagers on their viral YouTube broadcasts of “the Miley and Mandy Show”. However Mandy’s facebook photos are not so innocent. The provocative pictures are likely going to cast Mandy in a new light.

People are going to look at any new Miley and Mandy Show” videos in a whole new light now.  I am sure Mandy is going to be getting some interesting offers for more solo exposure now that she is becoming so well known.  Mandy who is miley’s back up dancer on the Hannah Montana tour is said to be 21 years old.  Perhaps a bit old to be hanging out with a 15-year-old?

 Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus took two awards for favorite female singer and television actress at Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards Saturday.

The 15-year-old singing and acting phenom, who had a No. 1 movie in February, also performed her song “Girls Night Out” during the show.

It was also a slime spectacle for the Nickelodeon children’s television network, which broadcast the 21st annual show live from UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in front of 10,000 screaming fans, almost all of them teens and preteens.

Harrison Ford was slimed onstage during  the slime spectacle for the Nickelodeon children’s television network.   Supermodel Heidi Klum, also got in on the fun, hooking up to a bungee cord and wearing a specially equipped “butt spike belt,” she flung herself into a wall covered with slime-filled balloons.

Teen heartthrob Drake Bell was another double winner, collecting his third consecutive orange blimp-shaped trophy for favorite TV actor and another for favorite TV show for “Drake and Josh.”

Jessica Alba won the gong for favorite movie actress at the awards, which were determined by 88 million votes on Nickelodeon’s website.

“I love Nickelodeon! I wore green today in honor of the slime,” Alba — who’s expecting her first child with fiance Cash Warren — said. “I love making movies for you all.”

Cameron Diaz was presented with the Wannabe Award, which recognizes a celebrity role model. She asked the audience of preteens to say, “We are the future! And the future is bright!”

Chris Brown won for favorite male singer, the Jonas Brothers won for favorite music group and Ryan Seacrest accepted American Idol’s award for favorite reality show.

The paparazzi hounds have gotten bored with Britney Spears acting semi-normal,  hardly going out and generally not acting like a fool anymone. So strangely enough some have switched over to watching Miley Cyrus’ every move.

A photo agency head said that a lot of Brit’s regular paps have now been assigned to Miley. Brad Elterman of Buzz told Rush & Molly:

“Over the weekend, there were less than a half dozen covering Britney. Yet there were 30 in the pack covering Miley Cyrus. Most of them were Britney regulars, but they want something new and fresh. It’s moved on to Miley.”

New and fresh Miley is. She seems happy to pose for the paps but I don’t see her keeping there interest for too long.  She’s not that type of girl now (Britney didn’t seem to be either back in the day), and hopefully she never will be.  There are plenty of other celebrity media sluts out there, that would be happy for the attention.  And of course if Britney slides back into her old ways the paps will be back in a heartbeat.

Teen sensation Miley Cyrus had to deal with one of the toughest time of her life last year.  Last year while on the Hannah Montana tour, Miley received terrible news that her best friend had died at the age of 13 from cystic fibrosis. She felt horrible that she was unable to pay her respects while on tour, but was comforted by  her friend and tour mate at the time, Nick Jonas who she called, her knight in shining armor.

Miley said the emotional pain made her go “crazy”, but insists the Jonas Brothers star’s wise words were the catalyst in her  recovery.

Cyrus says, “Last year I lost one of my closest friends to cystic fibrosis. She was almost 13 and she passed away while I was on tour so I couldn’t go back home when it happened. I kind of went crazy. I couldn’t understand why it had happened and I was really upset. I was touring with the Jonas Brothers and Nick said I had to pull myself together and he was right because I was going mad.”

Did they really date and breakup?  No one knows for sure but Miley does have a place in her heart for Nick.

Two maternal caregivers for Hollywood’s hottest teen stars, met for a heart-to-heart at Starbucks recently, it has been revealed.

Lynne Spears and Tish Cyrus, met up for lattes at the coffee chain earlier this week, taking a seat at an outdoor table.

Though both ladies were casually attired, their conversation appeared to be quite intent. “Lynn looked upset and was doing the talking,” an eyewitness told Star magazine, “while Tish listened intently, nodding her head in agreement.”

And the reason for their discussion? “The Spears and Cyrus families have become good friends,” adds the source, “and I wouldn’t be surprised if they arranged the chat so that Lynne could share with Tish the lessons she learned as she’s tried to deal with care for Britney and Jamie Lynn.”

Lynne of course may have much to get off her chest with eldest troubled daughter Britney currently being cared for by dad Jamie, and youngest daughter Jamie Lynn currently pregnant with her first child at the age of 16. Meanwhile teen sensation Miley Cyrus, 15, leads a more clean-cut lifestyle, enjoying sleepovers with friends.

Miley Cyrus the star of hit Disney show Hannah Montana is doing her own producing on the side. She debuted an online video entitled The Miley & Mandy Show on YouTube Sunday.
The nearly 5-minute clip, features Cyrus and her friend, Mandy Jiroux, a dancer on the Best of Both Worlds Tour,being silly and dancing to Janet Jackson’s “Feedback.”

The clip ends with a list of credits, citing “Miley & Mandy” for hair and makeup, wardrobe, lighting and craft services. The set, which appears to be in a home, is provided by Miley. They also thank the Jonas Brothers for use of two of their songs.

Miley will continue her grown up activities with dad Billy Ray Cyrus hosting this year’s CMT Music Awards, ceremony in Nashville, which airs live on April 14.
