Hugh Hefner is still out there trolling for young starlets to reveal all in his magazine. The 81-year-old men’s magazine mogul wants Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen to pose for Playboy.

He originally asked the twins to model for him when they turned 18 three years ago - but was turned down - hopes the girls will accept his invitation to appear in a special June edition of his adult publication to mark their 22nd birthday.

No word from the Olsen twins but with their interest in high-end fashion these days, I think Hefner has got no shot.

Playboy also wants Lindsay Lohan to appear in his magazine - and recreate Marilyn Monroe’s famous naked swim from her ‘Something’s Got to Give’ movie. Lohan recently stripped off in a New York magazine shoot to pay homage to Monroe. The racy shoot proved so popular that the magazine’s website crashed under the massive volume of hits.

Lohan, 21, teamed with Monroe photographer Bert Stern to recreate the famous 1962 photo shoot of the blonde bombshell at the Bel Air hotel.

“Now we hear Lindsay is tempted to continue her nude homage to MM,” Liz Smith wrote in the New York Post earlier this week.

“Playboy’s Hugh Hefner has offered the young star the chance to re-create Marilyn’s famed nude swim from the unfinished film ‘Something’s Got To Give.’”
Lindsay seems pretty desperate for the money so it’s not to far fetched to think she might go for it, if the price is right.

Mary-Kate Olsen who recently became linked to Heath Ledger By an ill fated phone call by masseuse Diana Wolozin was more then just an acquantince.  According to a story by People Magazine the two were friends, definitely party pals and maybe more.

People is quoting a source that says the pair were dating for the three months prior to the actor’s death, though not exclusively.

As for what drew the two together, says the source, “They had a bond that was based on partying, and they had the same tastes in partying … like, in terms of where they liked to hang out in New York, what time they would want to go out. They just had the same sensibility.”

I will let you decide what that is supposed to mean …

Update: According to the Daily News, Olsen’s bodyguard later confirmed to police that Heath Ledger and Mary-Kate Olsen were dating (though her rep says they’re just friends). The Post quotes a police source as saying the two had a “mutual relationship.”  I am guessing the rep is right and they were just friends.

The New York Times has laid out the precise details and timeline of the discovery of Heath Ledger body and how Mary-Kate Olsen  got involved in the story:

“According to the police, at about 12:30 p.m., a housekeeper, Teresa Solomon, arrived at the apartment, at 421 Broome Street in SoHo, to do household chores. At about 1 p.m., she went into Mr. Ledger’s bedroom to change a light bulb in an adjacent bathroom; she found him on the bed face down, with the sheet pulled up to his shoulders, and heard him snoring.

A masseuse, Diana Wolozin, arrived to give Mr. Ledger a massage at about 2:45 p.m. At 3 p.m., after Mr. Ledger did not emerge from his bedroom, with the door closed, the masseuse called him on his cellphone but got no answer. She saw him laying in bed. She took a massage table out of the closet and began to set it up near his bed. She then went over to him and shook him, but got no response. Using his cellphone, she used a speed-dial button to call Mary-Kate Olsen in California to seek her guidance, knowing Ms. Olsen to be a friend of Mr. Ledger’s.  She told Ms. Olsen that Mr. Ledger was unconscious. Ms. Olsen said she would call some private security people she knew in New York, and hung up. Ms. Wolozin again shook Mr. Ledger, called Ms. Olsen a second time, and said she believed the situation was grave and would call 911.

Ms. Wolozin called 911 at 3:26 p.m. to say that Mr. Ledger was not breathing. The call occurred less than 15 minutes since she had first seen him in bed and only a few moments after the first call to Ms. Olsen. The 911 operator urged Ms. Wolozin to try to revive Mr. Ledger, but Ms. Wolozin’s efforts were not successful.

Emergency medical workers arrived at 3:33 p.m., at almost exactly the same moment as a private security guard summoned by Ms. Olsen. The medical workers moved his body to the floor and then used a defibrillator and CPR, to no avail. Mr. Ledger was pronounced dead at 3:36 p.m. By that point, two other private security guards summoned by Ms. Olsen had arrived, as had police officers.

The police said that all five witnesses — Ms. Solomon, the housekeeper; Ms. Wolozin, the masseuse; and the three private security guards summoned by Ms. Olsen — were fully cooperating with the authorities.”

Law enforcement sources have said that they do not believe that the delay in calling 911 played a role in the actor’s death, as they believe that he had already passed away

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have their apartment up for sale in New York’s Greenwich Village.

The Greenwich Village property, which the 21-year-old twins have never lived in, boasts 12 rooms & was bought for a $7.3 million, has just gone on the market for a cool $12 million.  And that would be a cool 4.7 mil profit if it sells at list price! That’s on top of the fact that Mary-Kate and Ashley have been renting out the luxury condo since they first bought it for $35,000 a month.  I guess it takes money to make money and they are a couple of smart cookies business wise.

 It has twelve rooms, one of which is a 53ft entertaining room with a center fireplace. It has a private elevator, two 100 square foot walk-in closets, and views of the Hudson River.

According to the real estate website, the 5,725 square foot apartment has some of “the most spectacular water and city views in all of Manhattan through 53 large picture windows.”

Four additional bedrooms, a powder room, four full marble baths, plus 24 hour doorman, concierge and in-house valet.

Mary Kate Olsen has been discharged from the hospital due to her kidney ailment. She is up and around town in NYC. Mary Kate was spotted patronizing Bubby’s in Tribeca. The place that recently had a major crackdown due to sanitation concerns. Rats and roaches were found on its premises. Looks like Mary Kate isn’t too worried about her stomach anyway?

Actress Mary-Kate Olsen was taken to the emergency room of a New York hospital on Monday.  She was diagnosed with a serious kidney infection.

“Mary Kate got a kidney infection,” says rep Nicole Caruso. “She’s resting comfortably and will be released in the next day or so.”  Speedy recovery Mary Kate.
