Here are a couple of pictures of Tony Romo’s 28th Birthday party on Saturday night in Dallas.

People Magazine reports that Jessica Simpson sang “Happy Birthday” to Romo and then they fed each other blue cake. Sick puppies! A party guest said,
“She licked cake from his face as everyone cheered them on. It was quite a spectacle. But they looked really happy together. Jessica had blue icing all over her hands and mouth and Tony was laughing.”

Maybe Jessica is more relaxed with Tony.  Life & Style reports that Romo prefers Jessica without make-up and as natural as possible. Jessica has supposedly completely scaled back on having hair and make-up artists around her all the time.

A source said, “She always worried about how she looked. Now she knows she can dress the way she wants and choose not to wear makeup and (Tony will) still love her just as much. She hates trying to look sexy all the time. Jess is a down-home girl on the inside.”

So maybe Jessica can enjoy a little icing on her face without worrying about whether it spoiled her hair and makeup.

Jessica Simpson is currently resting comfortably at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles after a minor health scare.

The singer was reportedly hospitalized over the weekend due to a kidney infection.

a friend of the family confirmed to ‘In Touch Weekly’:  “She checked in on Friday morning because she was feeling achy and had a fever.” .

Awww. Jessica was kept over the weekend for observations and is expected to be released Tuesday morning.

“She is doing fine, but she is ready to get out of there,” added the tattletale friend.

And although Jessica’s boyfriend, Dallas Cowboy Tony Romo wanted to be by her side, he had prior commitments aka better things to do, in Dallas.

 Jessica Simpson is in Kuwait to headline the “Operation MySpace concert” today, but sources are saying this isn’t exactly a charity show. Allegedly Jessica’s camp (aka Papa Joe) demanded a private plane which cost around $150,000 for starters. (Her reps denies she flew by private plane)

It was also reported that Jessica and her entourage including dad Joe, hairstylist Ken Paves, her personal assistant and another stylist (one can never have too many) would be bunking with the troops. MSNBC reports however that the bunking up will likely be for as long as it takes to snap some photos. An insider said:
“Jessica doesn’t sleep in tents or bunks the night before a concert. She needs to give a good performance — there’s no way Joe will want The Pussycat Dolls (who are also performing as part of the same show) to upstage his daughter. He’ll have her sleeping in a proper bed in the right environment.”

Jessica is also not fronting the bill for her high maintenance, which includes $6k per day for her make-up artist and stylist (each). Meanwhile hairstylist Paves rate is $10k per day.
“This isn’t a charity show. The people around Jessica aren’t donating their time or cutting their rates as if this was Jess’s charity Operation Smile. Someone is picking up the tab, and it’s not going to be Jessica.”

Jessica performs today and will get on a plane immediately after. She will spend around 3 hours with the troops. If you don’t tune in to MySpace for the show, no worries, Papa Joe is planning to take his own pictures, so that he can shop them exlcusively to a well paying celebrity weekly.

MySpace would not say who’s covering her tab, but did say “Jessica was not paid for her appearance.” (but of course there is a difference between expense and appearance money).

Apparently while John stood up to accept his award, Tony sat in the audience, very much a gentleman, but did not clap.  Coincidentally, last year’s big honoree was Jessica’s ex-husband, Nick Lachey, and in addition to Tony and John, Dane Cook was also dubbed to be fun, fearless and male this year (he was linked with Jess while filming Employee of the Month).

Some ‘Hollywood’ stars just translate better then others internationally.  The French revere the comedy of Jerry Lewis. David Hasselhoff was about the biggest thing in Europe since  sliced bread. And then there is the ‘under appreciated work’ of actress, Jessica Simpson, whose latest new bomb ‘Blonde Ambition’ had a run in eight Texas theaters, grossing just $1,771 in its opening weekend In December, forcing it to not pass go, and head straight to DVD.
But in the Ukraine Jessica Simpson is as popular as blue jeans! Jessica’s latest film Blonde Ambition is #1 in the Ukraine and pulled in a whopping $253,008 last weekend, as reported by Box Office Mojo.

Box Office Mojo says that the Soviet nations really have a sweet tooth for comedy and that when big name stars like Jessica Simpson are in the movie, that is all that is needed to pack the theaters. So much so that films like Blonde Ambition will gross more than No Country for Old Men.

Jessica Simpson is hopping mad over a recent OK! magazine article claiming she was dumped by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.   Simpson’s lawyers have fired off a strongly-worded letter demanding a retraction for an article which claims Romo broke up with the Jessica because she was high-maintenance, according to TMZ.com.

The letter referred to the article as a “smear campaign.” Her lawyers insist: “Mr Romo and Ms Simpson have not broken off their romantic relationship.”

Well as far as Jessica knows. Shhh!

Tony Romo has grown tired of Jessica Simpson according to OK! Magazine. Sources are telling them that Tony tried to dump Jessica last week. He’s realized Jessica is high-maintenance and the baggage she carries including an entourage that includes her daddy Joe. 

A source said that Tony told Jessica he just wanted to be friends. Jessica wasn’t ready to let that happen. The source said, “‘Just friends’ is not in Jessica’s vocabulary, and she is not a victim. She knows how bad this will look in the media.” 

Appearance is everything you know.

Jessica was unrelenting, so Tony invited her to what he thought would be the worst date ever for her, a hunting trip! The expression “That dog don’t hunt for me.” comes to mind? He told Jessica that he wanted to go hunting with her and without her people coming along. Apparently she accepted, but just picturing this scenario makes me laugh.  Perhaps if Jessica does end up getting dumped by Tony, Joe Simpson can line up his eldest daughter for that dating reality TV show he is rumored to be trying to get Ashlee on.

In a weird coincidence on the same day Us and OK! magazine came out with stories about an ex supposed girlfriend claiming they never even dated Tony. 

Carrie Underwood states “He was not my boyfriend and we were never dating,” the country star, 24, told the January/February issue of Women’s Health. “The more I screamed ‘We’re not dating!’ the more headlines claimed that we were a couple or that I was crying because he was out with another girl.

Sophia Bush states: “Tony Romo and I never dated,” she tells OK! at the Fuze Resolution Slenderize event benefiting the American Diabetes Foundation. “We went out to dinners. We had that moment when we realized that we’re gonna be friends.

Actually I thought going out to dinner was sort of dating but in football terms perhaps “the scoring drive failed to put points on the board”, and therefore Tony wasn’t  regarded as a ‘boyfriend’.

To back my “not putting points on the board” analogy Carrie Underwood also made the following mystifying statement in discussing Tony as a friend:

“We’re really good friends, we hang out a lot, and we’re close…well, friends smooch occasionally,” she added.”

So Tony, forget about those vacations with Jessica’s parents and put a scoring drive together now or forever be ‘friends’.
