Mother-to-be Jessica Alba graces the cover of Elle magazine for the February 2008 issue, photo shoot done by Gilles Bensimon. Overall Jessica comes off as the interviewer says more sober CEO than purring sex kitten. Here are highlights of her interview:

Thoughts on meeting Zac Efron at the Teen Choice Awards:

Alba’s eyes almost roll out of her head  as she says “He looks like a child with a lot of makeup. I was like, ‘My God, you’re just a little kid.’”

How Jessica feels about turning 27 in April:

“I’m anticipating it… I’m feeling old, yes… 27 was when Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, and Jim Morrison all died.”

Jessica’s feelings about using sex appeal to work in Hollywood:

“I think there are ambitious girls who will do anything to be famous, and they think men in this business are used to women doing that. Contrary to how people may feel, I’ve never used my sexuality. That’s not part of it for me. When I’m in a meeting, I want to tell you why I’m an asset, how I’m a commodity, how I can put asses in the seats, not, ‘There’s a chance you’re going to be able to f— me.’ That’s never been my deal.”

It seems somewhat anticlimatic now given the pregnancy anouncement came first but Jessica Alba, 26, is now set to wed her longtime boyfriend Cash Warren.

“Yes, I can confirm that they are engaged,” her rep told Usmagazine.com.

She flashed the ring during a December 26 outing in West Hollywood.

Though the engagement is on, the wedding might have to wait until after Alba gives birth (she’s about three months along).

As we reported earlier supposedly Jessica doesn’t want to be pregnant in a wedding dress!

Actress Jessica Alba has no plans to get married before her baby is born, reportedly because “she doesn’t want to be/look pregnant in a wedding dress!” Alba and Cash, 28, have been dating since meeting on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004. The couple reportedly split up earlier this year citing their hectic work schedules, but got back together soon after. Now sources are saying Alba and boyfriend Cash Warren broke up earlier this summer because Cash was not ready to walk down the aisle.
Nuptials or not, Jessica’s brother Josh told US Weekly in its new issue - “were looking forward to her having a baby.”

Actress JESSICA ALBA and boyfriend CASH WARREN are  pregnant with their first child with The 26-year-old actress has been dating Cash, 28, since 2004 when they met on the set of Fantastic Four. Cash was working on the movie as a director’s assistant.
The couple reportedly split up earlier this year (07) citing their hectic work schedules, but got back together soon after.  The couple have been seen being affectionate together in Los Angeles in recent days, shopping for mattresses last Saturday and attending a Lakers game (photo above), where they were spotted kissing Sunday.

Alba’s representative Brad Cafarelli says, “I confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer.”  There has been some speculation that Jessica might be pregnant last month when she let out in an interview that she was considering taking 8 months off citing 2 years of continuous movie shoots. Congratulations to Jessica And Cash!

At the Toronto Raptors and Golden Sate Warriors NBA game.  Jessica is in Toronto filming her new flick The Love Guru. 

There was some speculation today that Jessica might be pregnant based on her talking about taking 8 months off.  After working for over 2 years straight filming various movies she is ready to take a break.  So taking 8 months off is triggering some suspicions.

USA Today has posted the first image from Mike Meyer’s upcoming comedy, The Love Guru also starring Jessica Alba, Justin Timberlake, Ben Kingsley, Meagan Good, Verne Troyer and Romany Malco. (great cast)

He moves back to the U.S. to seek fame and fortune in the world of self-help and spirituality, specializing in settling intimacy issues between couples. His unorthodox methods are put to the test when he must settle a rift between major league star hockey player Darren Roanoke (Romany Malco) and his estranged wife. After the split, Roanoke’s wife starts dating the star member of a rival team, out of revenge, sending her husband into a major professional skid — to the horror of the team’s owner Jane Bullard (Jessica Alba) and Coach Cherkov (Verne Troyer). Pitka must return the couple to marital nirvana and get Roanoke back on his game so the team can break the 40-year-old “Bullard Curse” and win the championship.
