Jessica Alba had her baby shower today outdoors at The Ever After teahouse Sunday. The shower took place outside, under white umbrellas, with Lavendar and white dominating the decor, E! reports that Jessica was apparently overheard saying that she’s expecting a daughter in June.  About 35 guests (mostly family but a few celebs) pushed their way through the gathered paparazzi to get to the party.

Jessica received lots of gender-neutral green and yellow clothes, (even though Alba told guests she was expecting a girl in June) a “high-end” stroller, Dr. Seuss books, and a large stuffed bunny.
Word is that the 26-year-old actress is to name her baby girl, Honor. The rumor began when a guest ordered a gold-and-bead charm bracelet for the shower, with letters spelling out the possible name. According to Star Magazine, the guest was anxious about the jewels being ready for the weekend party:

“She said she loved the name too, Honor, and said Jessica picked it because she felt it was an honor to have Cash’s baby. She said she couldn’t wait to give it to Jessica this weekend. She asked twice if the bracelet would be ready by then.”

Cash Warren snuck in about an hour and a half after the party started, presumably to help load the gifts and escort the mom-to-be betrothed from the premises.

 Mike Myers’ new movie, The Love Guru (out June 20), looks pretty funny (check out the trailer below)!  Mike’s character Pitka, is an Indian love guru who helps people fall in love as he attempts to break into the US self-help market.
But if Mike and a good chuckle aren’t enough reason to check out the trailer, what about Justin Timberlake in a Speedo? Justin sports a dodgy stache, big hair, tiny speedos and little else as Jacques Grande  a professional skater and aspiring porno actor who has stolen away the wife of a rival hockey player whose career has subsequently gone on the skids. Jessica Alba, Ben Kingsley and Jessica Simpson also star in this silly comedy along with Verne Troyer, who played Mini Me in the Austin Powers series.

 Expectant mother Jessica Alba got back on to her MySpace blog, this week and talked about her experience at the Oscars. Jessica revealed that while she was happy she didn’t flub her lines or trip on her dress while recapping the winners of the Scientifical and Technical Achievement awards, she did nearly fall offstage. She said:

“I did have a stumble backstage outside of the green room. Cash caught one arm the other hit the floor.”

She added: “Luckily all the photogs were taking pics of Cameron D.”

Jessica described the Oscar experience as grand because she loves Jon Stewart and the Daily Show is one of her big favorites.  She was also rooting for Javier Barden, Diablo Cody, and Marion Cotillard. and raved about meeting young Ellen Page describing Juno as one of her favorite all time movies.

Jessica who is in her third trimester, confessed that she and fiancé Cash Warren ditched the Governor’s Ball and the rest of the after-parties.

“We opted for sweats and In ‘N’ Out burgers,” she writes. “Being preggers kind of takes the fun out of partying until the wee hours. Sleep always sounds so much better these days.”

Jessica also describes her current mood as “blissful” and signs off “JAY-EH.”

Jessica Alba to have twins? 

Well only if you believe the National Enquirer who says Jessica Alba has just learned she’s set to join Jennifer Lopez and become a first-time mom to twins.

Alba reportedly is so excited about the news, she has been letting all her friends know, and one source has blurted the baby exclusive out to the National Enquirer, along with the due date, June 8 (that’s convenient).

One friend supposedly told the publication, “Knowing that she’s going to have twins has turned Jessica’s life upside down. She and (fiance) Cash have had to scrap plans for a one-baby nursery and start all over again.”

Although the couple know they’re set to become parents to twins, they have no idea about the sex of their babies.

Avril Lavigne is pregnant with her first child (again)

Avril Lavigne was spotted covering a baby bump with a large bag outside three baby stores on Monday, as paps tried to take her photo.

She was photographed in LA with husband Deryck Whibley at Petit Tresor, Kitson for Kids and Lisa Kline Kids.

Lavigne reportedly purchased a cheetah diaper bag, baby AC/DC T-shirts and a pacifier holder at Petit Tresor.

However the pop-punk singer has repeatedly denied rumors that she is pregnant, insisting that she will start her world tour as scheduled on March 5 in Canada.

Eva Longoria shops for  baby gear

‘Desperate Housewives’ actress, Eva Longoria Parker was reportedly shopping for baby clothes and a nursery, flaming recent rumors she is pregnant.

Eva who is married to basketball star Tony Parker - was spotted admiring furniture and clothes in exclusive Los Angeles’ children’s boutique Petit Trésor.   She looked at cribs, changing tables and inquired about designing a nursery.

“She bought a $116 Robbie Adrian blanket and a half-dozen Huddy Buddy Babygros, including one that proclaimed, ‘I tend to drool.’”

Eva recently denied rumors she was pregnant, claiming her recent weight gain was due to the recent Hollywood writers strike as she couldn’t go to work and spent too much time cooking and eating.

nineMSN is claiming Jessica Alba has been moody and depressed and constantly fighting with Cash Warren.  The couple supposedly can’t agree on anything anymore. Things got so bad allegedly, that Jessica decided to go to the Sundance Film Festival in Utah sans boyfriend to clear her head.  Cash eventually joined Jessica at Sundance but even so the story concludes that the relationship is on very shaky ground and was so even before they got pregnant.  While I take this particular story with a grain of salt there are regular rumors that Jessica and Cash are bickering a lot right now.   Stay tuned.

Speaking to Coming Soon, Jessica Alba has indicated that there will be another Fantastic Four sequel. Alba who was Razzie award nominated for FF 2 (which is no honor), said that the third part of the superhero franchise has been delayed by the writers’ strike.

The writers’ strike and the impending actors strike has kind of put a wrench in everything production wise.”  That film takes a lot of prep, a good six months of prep and about six months to shoot. With the strike, I think, maybe it’s put on hold.

In the same interview Jessica also revealed that she knows little about her upcoming role in Sin City Two, saying “I haven’t read the script. I don’t know anything about it. 

Also  asked about making “Dark Angel” into a film?
Alba said: We’ve talked about it, I want to work with Jim so I would pretty much do anything he wants to do.

Jessica Alba doing the interview rounds told Extra that she’s been having dreams about her new baby and one of the thing she’s most nervous about is breastfeeding. Jessica said about the dreams, “It had to do with breastfeeding, which is the only thing I’m paranoid about, more than giving birth.”

Unfortunately Extra didn’t clarify why Jessica is more nervous about breastfeeding then giving birth.  Perhaps Jessica doesn’t like the idea of those late night and early morning feedings?

Jessica also said she will not be rushing to get back into shape like many celebrity moms.

“I try and eat healthy as possible, because it’s good for the baby, exercise, as long as I don’t gain too much too fast- that’s the key.”

 This picture is from the Glamour Magazine Luncheon about 2 weeks ago.  As you can see pregnancy is agreeing with Jessica quite well.  And speaking of agreeing, Jessica and Cash were of two minds this weekend on knowing the sex of their unborn child.
While at the Sundance Film Festival the couple stopped by the Kari Feinstein Style Lounge to buy  some baby gifts. While a vendor from Marnie Rocks showed the pair some baby bedding, she asked if they planned to learn the sex of their love child. “Yes!” Cash piped up, while Jessica simultaneously answered, “no.”

Guess they hadn’t talked about it yet. But Jessica requested the tiny sheets in four different colors (pink, yellow, green and aqua) to cover all the bases, so I guess she might win that disagreement.

The Razzies honor the worst in film, and Lindsay Lohan helped lead the way with two Razzie awards for her “work” in last summer’s bomb, I Know Who Killed Me. She played a stripper and an abducted small-town girl that were twins??, and apparently played them both rather badly.

No double jeapordy rules apply with the Razzies so, Eddie Murphy also received multiple nominations for his many roles in Norbit. 

Jessica Alba, competing with Lohan for Worst Actress. was nominated for her less then stellar acting in three films: Awake, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Good Luck Chuck.

Competing for the top prize against favorites, Alba and Lohan are Elisha Cuthbert for Captivity; Diane Keaton for Because I Said So and the chicks from the Bratz movie.

Nominated for worst actor are: Eddie Murphy for the before mentioned Norbit, Adam Sandler for I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, Cuba Gooding, Jr. for Daddy Day Camp, Nicolas Cage for Ghost Rider and Jim Carrey for The Number 23.

And, those vying for worst movie of the year are: I Know Who Killed Me, Norbit, Bratz, Daddy Day Camp, and I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.
