Jennifer Lopez will star, co-create and co-executive produce a reality show for TLC. The show will follow JLo as she juggles her career and motherhood after she gave birth birth to twins Max and Emme on February 22. The show is currently in production and no air-date has been announced. TLC is calling it a “docu-series,” but that’s just fancy talk for “another reality tv show.”
JLo said, “I am excited to be part of the TLC family. I’m looking forward to sharing this exciting journey together.” Translatation, “Hahaha! I’m getting paid sooo much money.  I think reality tv shows are great vehicles for comebacks for those whose careers are wanning.  But this is kind of new territory.   How will this affect the career of a mega-star?

We all know what an ordeal it was for JLo to have her Dragon Tales twins Max and Emme last month. I mean, she was forced to give birth in a regular commoners hospital! But she survived the ordeal like a trooper and Marc Anthony knows he better say thank you, so he went out and bought her  $2.6 million diamond earrings as a “thank you.”

He had their babies’ initials engraved on each earring ‘M’ and ‘E’. Put the two earrings together and it spells ME! Perfect, that’s JLo’s one and only true love.

The couple are also looking for a live-in nanny! “They want someone they can trust to give the twins a good sense of grounding and some proper discipline when they aren’t around.” But it’s hard to find someone like that today that will accept being paid $10 a day for their services.

Just five weeks after giving birth to twins Maximilian David and Emme Maribel, Jennifer Lopez stepped out last night looking, looking amazingly slimmed down after her pregnancy.

Jennifer, 38, took to the red carpet with husband Marc Anthony, in a draped black Grecian dress at the premiere of the Rolling Stones new rockumentary ‘Shine A Light’ which revealed the singer is clearly almost back in to her pre-pregnancy best.

JLo looked sleek and glamorous with her trademark glowing make-up, hair pulled up in a chic bun, and black body-skimming dress.

After gaining a substantial amount of weight during her pregnancy Jennifer recently revealed she is in no hurry to lose her baby weight.

“I gained 45-50lbs, a lot for my frame, but for twins it’s right on.”

The new mother of two said she was proud of her post-pregnancy figure.

She added: “It’s amazing how your stomach goes goes boop and it’s this jiggly mass.

Jennifer called celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson, who lives in Beverly Hills, and asked him to get on a plane as soon as possible to come to New York and paid him at least $75,000″ for the “exercise emergency.” JLo  is working with Gunnar to help her get back in shape and perhaps train for a triathlon. 

Commenting on the differences between the twins, she said: “Emme is a total girl. You take off her clothes and she covers up, and her hands are very feminine.

And she has more hair than him. And he is like a tank, with these little arms.”

The paydays for celebrity moms selling tabloids exclusive rights to photos of their new babies has gotten quite lucrative. Christina Aguilera bagged a reported $1.5 million, JLo got a whopping $6 million, and A-Lister+ Angelina Jolie’s rumored twins will earn the actress up to an estimated $8-10 million. Back in 1989, Lisa Marie Presley’s baby got what was considered then a hefty $100,000 for first pics. Now insiders say having babies has become a go-to second line of income for famous women.

One magazine editor who asked to remain anonymous said, “It’s at the point now where some stars might decide to have more kids just to collect the money from their photos.”

Pregnant stars are now “treating this like a game,” said National Enquirer Executive Editor Barry Levine.

“It’s become big business now,” Levine said. “It’s outrageous, they’ve gotten very sophisticated. The rights are bought up now even before the celeb enters the hospital. They hire extra security so it’s impossible to obtain a photo illegally.”

Levine said stars now realize that having a child is “akin to getting a role in a movie.”

Many people worry about whether they can afford to have a child. For high profile celebrities their babies come into the world with a built in trust fund.

Beside the $6 million baby picture pay day, Jennifer Lopez revealed in her People Magazine accompaning interview that she is training to compete a triathlon in six months. Her motivation she says is that “she wants her babies to be proud of her”. Her by then seven month old babies will look back one day and say mom was a triathlelte and I think she sang and acted a little too.

Lopez gave birth to Emme and Max on 22 February and is already focusing on taking part in a endurance event, to slim down.

Anyway Jenny from the block is now Jenny runs, swims and cycles around the block and she’s very excited about motherhood saying, it as the most magical time of her life.
“You know what? You can win an Oscar, you can win a Golden Globe, and as an ambitious artist you strive for those things. But when you have a kid, all of that is irrelevant.” “This is what is most important to her. As she said, ‘As a woman this is the biggest thing that can happen to me.’ ”

No pun intended on the “baby duty” title.  Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony got out of the mansion in their first public outing since the birth of one-month-old twins Max and Emme, The new parents headed out to dinner in Manhattan, New York last night. The new parents happily accepted a stuffed Easter bunny from waiting paparazzi. Jennifer looked terrific smiling and radiant and slimming down already! Meanwhile Marc, who often has dark circles under his eyes was looking very weary. Perhaps he is the one that handles the night feeding and changings?

TMZ confirms that JLo is indeed getting $6 million from People Magazine for pictures of her Dragon Tales twins Max and Emme. However she only agreed to take the magazine’s money on a couple of conditions.  The first is People Magazine should no longer refer to her as JLo (really no kidding). Isn’t Jennifer the one who created the name in the first place?

As for demand number two, JLo wants only husband Marc Anthony, to shoot the pictures.  Is it a trust issue or is it a clever way to keep Marc out of the pictures?   In any case Jenny from the block has totally gone diva.  And babies Max and Emme won’t want for a thing, with a color therapist, a masseuse and their own wing of Jennifer and Marc Anthony’s home. The rooms are filled with luxury baby belongings, such as 600-thread-count Egyptian cotton crib linens and diamond-encrusted rattles.  And though they can’t use them yet, each tiny tot has a Shetland pony at the ready outside. 

Like any new parent Jennifer Lopez is going all out to care and comfort her new born twins, Max and Emme.  Unlike most of us though JLo and husband Marc Anthony have the means to pamper their babies in ways most people would find over the top.  While mom was once known as ‘Jenny From The Block’ the twins Max and Emme who were born last month, are going to be known as the kids born with silver spoons in their mouths.

To start with JLo and Marc have hired a masseuse and a trained color therapist for their newborn twins. They have also reportedly ordered 600-count Egyptian cotton cot linen, designer Babygros, diamond-engraved rattles and, two small Shetland ponies for the youngsters.

A source said: “Jennifer has gone all-out to give the twins an amazing childhood. (You think?)

“She had the nursery painted a beautiful aquamarine and light blue - colors which are supposed to have intelligence boosting properties.

“She listened to classical music throughout her pregnancy and is now having music piped through to the nursery to help relax her youngsters.

“She has employed a professional baby masseuse to come in once or twice a week and is also superparanoid about hygiene.

“The twins’ wing is said to be totally sterile and all flowers and presents are stored in a separate room, so they don’t contaminate the babies’ area.

“It may sound excessive but she’s only got her kids’ best interests at heart and wants to give them the start in life she never had.”

The Latino beauty, 38, is said to have consulted her close friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes prior to setting up her baby palace.

And to make sure the babies are safe, JLo and Marc are said to have beefed up their home security by hiring six bodyguards and installed closed circuit security systems in all their homes.
