Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge are looking to welcome their first child in a new home. Spears is 7 months pregnant and is believed to be expecting a girl.

The teen star who turned 17 on April 14th, is due to give birth this summer. Jamie and Casey who just started house hunting have allegedly made a $300,000 offer on a three-bedroom house in Liberty, Mississippi. The house is also said to have a loft, marble floors, a remodeled kitchen and games room. Raising the baby far from the bright lights of Hollywood sounds like a good idea.

So knocked-up 16 year old Jamie Lynn Spears is now engaged to Casey Aldridge, 18, but there will be no shotgun wedding. In fact momma Lynne Spears isn’t so sure if marriage is such a good thing for her daughter and wants some protections put in place.
Lynne is rightfully said to be insisting that the couple sign a prenuptial agreement.

A source tells In Touch Weekly, “The contract is already drawn up and ready to go. Lynne’s not sure marriage is a good idea, but she’ll go along with that if that’s what Jamie Lynn wants, as long as Casey signs the contract.”

A family friend says Lynne is worried about Casey and is aware of rumors that he may have cheated on Jamie. The friend adds, “Lynne is keeping an eye on him. He doesn’t seem as committed to the relationship as Jamie Lynn.”

Momma Lynne is currently back in Kentwood to celebrate Jamie Lynn’s 17th birthday April 4th. They grow up so fast!

Looks like Casey Aldridge, is going to make an honest women of his pregnant teen girl friend, Jamie Lynn Spears (sort of).

People magazine says the Zoey 101 Spears sister is sporting some new ice on her ring finger.

A family insider reports, “She’s got an engagement ring. She’s been showing it off and talking about it.”

An official wedding date has yet to be announced but the baby is due this summer.  Casey is doing the right thing of course gallantly marrying his knocked up teenage girlfriend, and insuring a life of wealth as a Spears ex, should things not work out.

Britney Spears has reportedly bought her pregnant sister Jamie Lynn a new nursery costing over $30,000.  Britney is sparing no expense and a source is quoted as saying:

“Petit Tresor is designing the nursery for Jamie Lynn’s baby in Kentwood, Louisiana. It has an ocean theme, and is going to have organic bedding and baby blankets.  Jamie Lynn picked the “Round Crib at Sea” ($1,150 according to the Petit Tresor Web site), the “Bliss Nursery Dresser ($995) as well as organic bedding and baby blankets that are being made by Robbie Adrian. Aunt to be Britney picked the center-piece for the nursery, which is a custom made, six-foot tall toy elephant with a blue bow.

Jamie Lynn, 16, and boyfriend Casey Aldridge are expecting their first child this summer.  Supposedly the purchase of the nursery is an indication, of plans for Jamie Lynn to raise her son near the rest of her family in Kentwood, La.  But no explanation for that reasoning was given.

Two maternal caregivers for Hollywood’s hottest teen stars, met for a heart-to-heart at Starbucks recently, it has been revealed.

Lynne Spears and Tish Cyrus, met up for lattes at the coffee chain earlier this week, taking a seat at an outdoor table.

Though both ladies were casually attired, their conversation appeared to be quite intent. “Lynn looked upset and was doing the talking,” an eyewitness told Star magazine, “while Tish listened intently, nodding her head in agreement.”

And the reason for their discussion? “The Spears and Cyrus families have become good friends,” adds the source, “and I wouldn’t be surprised if they arranged the chat so that Lynne could share with Tish the lessons she learned as she’s tried to deal with care for Britney and Jamie Lynn.”

Lynne of course may have much to get off her chest with eldest troubled daughter Britney currently being cared for by dad Jamie, and youngest daughter Jamie Lynn currently pregnant with her first child at the age of 16. Meanwhile teen sensation Miley Cyrus, 15, leads a more clean-cut lifestyle, enjoying sleepovers with friends.

Jamie Lynn Spears will appear in an episode of the ABC comedy, Miss Guided, premiering March 20 (8 p.m. ET). The pregnant Zoey 101 star will appear in the premiere episode, called “Hot Sub,” as Mandy Ferner, a troubled student who gets some exciting news from college, according to ABC (art imitating life as Jamie recently passed her GED exam earlier this year).
Judy Greer stars in the sitcom, playing a formerly awkward high school student who returns to her alma mater all grown up — and as a guidance counselor. Ashton Kutcher is the executive producer on the series, and he’ll apparently also appear will play a Spanish teacher and a possible romantic interest for Greer’s character.

As a midseason addition to the schedule, Miss Guided was filmed in October after Spears wrapped Zoey 101, but before the young actress announced her pregnancy in December.

Jamie Lynn has basically gone into seclusion, since filming her spot on the show,but rumors are she is chomping at the bit to resume her acting career once the baby is born.  With perhaps mom Lynne actually be doing the baby-raising. Perhaps another chance for Lynne to get things right?

According to the UK Sun Newspaper, Britney Spears dumped pap boyfriend Adnan Ghalib and threw his  iPhone in a swimming pool for good measure.  As the story goes, Spears reportedly had it out with Adnan, after two video clips of him spending time with a mystery women (possibly LA waitress Amanda Pagel), were posted online. Inspector Britney then checked Adnan’s iPhone and discovered a series of “sexy” messages all from one girl.

“Britney lost it and started yelling. She was demanding to know who sent the texts and shouting, ‘What’s this about? You’re cheating on me’.

“Adnan said the girl was just a friend, but Britney got more and more angry. Then she told him, ‘That’s it. It’s over’.

“Just before she told Adnan to go, she took the phone and threw it in the pool right in front of him. He didn’t even bother trying to get it out of the water.”

I am kind of doubting how a British newspaper scooped all the other 24/7 sources with this Britney story but time will tell.

Meanwhile on a supposed recent trip to swank baby goods store Petit Tresor in West Hollywood on Feb. 25, Jamie Lynn and sister Britney Jamie Lynn Spears purchased several items that were light blue in color. Britney originally said the items were for herself, but the items, organic baby blankets, towels and pajamas, appeared to be for an infant. Putting 2 +2 together MSNBC is speculating Jamie Lynn is having a boy.
