Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie,  supposedly wed this Saturday in the couple’s adopted city of New Orleans, Louisiana on Saturday afternoon according to Star Magazine.

Speculation was Brad had long wanted the ceremony to take place in the city devastated by Hurricane Katrina, while Angelina preferred a small, intimate ceremony in France. Perhaps Brad won out as the planned ceremony took place in the French Quarter Wedding Chapel.

However People Magazine says a source close to the couple tells them that there was “no wedding.”

And while the Brangelina family spent a weekend in New Orleans two weeks ago as Pitt broke ground on his Make It Right project to help rebuild the city’s Lower Ninth Ward, they have recently been in the Austin, Texas, area while Pitt films Tree of Life with Sean Penn.

Well if they did indeed marry his would be Brad’s second time down the aisle. With his first to “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston ending in divorce after five-year of marriage shortly after meeting Angelina on the set of their 2005 film Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Twice-married Angelina divorced actors Jonny Lee Miller in 1999 and Billy Bob Thornton in 2003 after three-year marriages to each.

Actress Angelina Jolie has been suffering from a form of diabetes that hits expecting mothers, according to reports. Jolie, who is supposedly pregnant with twins, has reportedly contracted gestational diabetes,  as well as other complications including edema or swelling,  fatigue and relentless nausea.

“She has gestational diabetes,” Star Magazine quoted a source, as saying. “She found out about a month ago. She’s been seeing a nutritionist about it frequently,” the source added. The actress is said to be very nauseous and her legs are so swollen that she has to wear bigger shoes.

Gestational diabetes occurs in a small percentage of pregnant women and results in high blood-sugar levels. Standard treatment is diet and exercise and is reversible but sufferers run the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes as a consequence. Jolie, who is speculated to be having twins already has a daughter, Shiloh with Brad Pitt, and three adopted kids, Maddox, Pax Thien and Zahara.

The paydays for celebrity moms selling tabloids exclusive rights to photos of their new babies has gotten quite lucrative. Christina Aguilera bagged a reported $1.5 million, JLo got a whopping $6 million, and A-Lister+ Angelina Jolie’s rumored twins will earn the actress up to an estimated $8-10 million. Back in 1989, Lisa Marie Presley’s baby got what was considered then a hefty $100,000 for first pics. Now insiders say having babies has become a go-to second line of income for famous women.

One magazine editor who asked to remain anonymous said, “It’s at the point now where some stars might decide to have more kids just to collect the money from their photos.”

Pregnant stars are now “treating this like a game,” said National Enquirer Executive Editor Barry Levine.

“It’s become big business now,” Levine said. “It’s outrageous, they’ve gotten very sophisticated. The rights are bought up now even before the celeb enters the hospital. They hire extra security so it’s impossible to obtain a photo illegally.”

Levine said stars now realize that having a child is “akin to getting a role in a movie.”

Many people worry about whether they can afford to have a child. For high profile celebrities their babies come into the world with a built in trust fund.

Some researchers at the New England Historic Genealogical Society in Boston with too much time on their hands, have discovered some interesting family connections. It turns out Barack Obama is a distant cousin of Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie is a distant cousin of Hillary Clinton. Hopefully no political war’s suddenly breakout in the Brangelina household.

Hillary is also a distant cousin of Madonna, Celine Dion and Alanis Morisette.
Obama is also releated to six presidents:  President George W. Bush and his father, George H.W. Bush, Gerald Ford, Lyndon Johnson, Harry S. Truman and James Madison. Other Obama cousins include Vice President Dick Cheney, British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill and Civil War General Robert E. Lee.
Look forward to the Obama, Dick Cheney family reunion. So I guess this proves if you go far enough back we’re all related?

John McCain’s ancestry wasn’t elaborated on because it’s more difficult to trace, because records on his relatives were not as complete as records for the families of Obama and Clinton.

This weeks In Touch Weekly’s cover story claims Angelina Jolie is pregnant with fraternal twins.

The 32-year-old actress reportedly underwent fertility treatment to help her conceive.

A source told the magazine: “[She’ll] be having a boy and a girl. Because [Angelina] took fertility treatments to help her ovulate, her babies are fraternal. They’re ecstatic. She can’t wait.”

Jolie was overheard cooing about her unborn babies on the set of Pitt’s new movie, ‘Tree Of Life’, in Texas, telling one pal the little ones are “kicking and moving”.

Jolie and partner Brad Pitt currently have three adopted children, Maddox, Zahara and Pax-Thien, and a biological daughter Shiloh.

The couple reportedly want to raise their children in France, as a tribute to Angelina’s late mother Marcheline Bertrand who hailed from the European country.

Boston Legal actress, Taraji P. Henson talked with PageSix last week at Bebe’s spring ad campaign launch on Rodeo Drive about her new movie co-star.  Taraji and Brad Pitt star together in the forthcoming The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons, alongside Oscar winners Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton, and director David Fincher.
The movie, is about a man that ages in reverse, has Taraji (right) playing Brad’s mother, and she thinks Brad’s real mama would be proud that fame hasn’t gone to her son’s oft-photographed head.

“He’s so down-to-earth. He really doesn’t understand why these people are chasing him for pictures,” said Taraji.

On Angelina first visit to the Louisiana set, Brad tore around like a lovestruck teenager.

“He took me by the hand and said, ‘You’ve got to meet Angie! You’ve got to meet Angie!” Taraji said.

“I saw little [Shiloh] on set with Angie,”  “and I said, ‘She’s so beautiful!’ Brad told me, ‘All my kids are beautiful.’”

Awww.

And while they’re obviously smitten, Taraji thinks they’re still responsible parents.

“I never saw a nanny. Either Brad or [Angelina]. They’ve really got it down now, one of them works and one’s with the family.”

Defending her own honor in the process Sheryl Crow has claimed that Jennifer Aniston dumped Brad Pitt rather than the other way around.

Pitt and Aniston were married for five years before splitting in January 2005. The couple split amid rumors that Pitt had fallen for Angelina Jolie on the set of their movie Mr and Mrs Smith.

However, Crow said she learned the truth when she became friends with Aniston after both had ended their romances. Crow split from cyclist Lance Armstrong around the same time.

Crow said: “For both of us, the perceived idea is that, in our big relationships, we both got dumped. Believe me, this is not true. Neither one of us has ever gotten dumped. No one ever knows what goes on in relationships.

“Unfortunately, for some people like Jennifer and me, so much is written about things that you don’t say, and so many emotions are attributed to you that you haven’t had.”

Another unidentified Aniston friend also told the National Enquirer:

“Once Jen saw the writing on the wall, she dumped Brad. She took a cold, hard look at her marriage and realised it was irretrievably broken. She and Brad had vastly different personal agendas and feelings about love, career and having a family.”

Since the split there has been no contact between Aniston, Pitt or Jolie. Most recently Jolie and Pitt were expected to co-host last month’s fundraiser at the Beverly Hills Hotel with Aniston, but opted to visit the Film Independent Spirit Awards instead.

While many tabloids claimed  a pregnant Angelina and Brad had pulled out of the event for fear of a showdown with Aniston, Jolie’s brother, James Haven insists the rumors couldn’t be further from the truth. Haven claims that his sister withdrew from the event because she did not want her fellow actress to feel uncomfortable, saying:
“Angie is an incredibly strong but also incredibly sensitive woman, and she would always be careful when another woman’s feelings are concerned.

“She’d go out of her way to make sure there was no situation that would hurt another woman because of her, and I’m talking about a situation like one of Brad’s ex-partners or his ex-wife.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will reportedly have their next child and raise their family in France to honor the actress’ late French-Canadian mother. Jolie’s actress mom, Marcheline Bertrand, died in January last year after losing her 7½ year battle with ovarian cancer.

After several months of house-hunting Brangelina have bought a chateau in the south of France and plan to make it their family home.

According to British newspaper The Sun’s ,’well placed sources’,  although it has widely been reported the pair are expecting twins, Angelina, 32, is expecting just one girl.
When their newborn arrives this summer, the couple will be parents to five kids; they have three adopted children, Maddox, Pax, and Zahara, as well as a biological daughter, Shiloh.

All children are said to be, immersed in their new culture, learning the language. Maddox is even enrolled at a French school in the States.

The source added: “Angelina is proud of her French roots and wants her latest addition to be born and raised there.”
