After recently being spotted wearing a wedding ring in Miami, Nelly Furtado has confessed that she has been married to fiance Demacio Castellon since July 19, 2008. Rumor on Nelly’s wedding sparked prior to her real marriage after she was spotted going to Miami, Florida, wearing a large sparkler on her wedding finger back in December 2007. Nelly met Demacio while they were working together on her 2006 hit album “Loose.” She then was engaged to him in 2007 as being confirmed by her match maker and pal Timbaland. She has a five-year-old daughter, named Nevis, with her ex-boyfriend DJ Jasper Gahunia. She previously also admitted to have been looking forward to settle down and have more children, stating “I’m kind of modern. I don’t really live by society’s standards. Maybe in the next five years I’ll get married, have more kids. One grandmother had eight kids, the other had 10. If I have that many kids, then I would need a husband.”

Having been reluctant to share her personal life, Nelly Furtado finally revealed that she has married sound engineer fiance Demacio Castellon in a secret party summer this year. “We got married July 19th,” the singer told Entertainment Tonight Canada.

“I love it. It’s a nice phase of my life,” Nelly expressed her feeling of being Mrs. Castellon. “I just feel kind of free and relaxed and more in tune with trying not to be so stressed out. I’m trying to enjoy things a little more.”

However, Nelly still won’t reveal other details about the secret nuptials. “I’m happy… I’m excited about the future,” the Canadian star went on saying.

Forbes has just come out with their list of 2007’s 20 highest grossing female musicians, and the results to me are pretty surprising.  The earnings were calculated from June 2006 and June 2007, and the the vast majority collected these hefty earnings from sell-out tours.  The top 3 stars have been dominating pop music for decades.
