Kanye West and girlfriend Amber Rose have apparently gone their separate ways.

The rap artist’s spokesman confirmed to New York Post: “They are no longer a couple.”

Since the rumors of the break-up with Rose, West, who just turned 33  June 8,  has been rumored to be dating R&B music singer Rihanna.

Rose, an admitted bi-sexual known first for dancing and appearing in music videos such as Ludacris’ “What Them Girls Like,” Young Jeezy’s “Vacation,” and for her very sexy, half-naked photo shoot for Smooth Magazine, has reportedly been spotted out and about with a new girlfriend.

West just appeared on ABC’s “The View” Wednesday and took the opportunity to announce his forthcoming co-headlining tour with disco queen Lady Gaga. Count on rumors of a West - Lady Gaga romance starting right about now.

Not known for restraint when it comes to boosting her career prospects, Rihanna’s clearly making some friends to help further her climb. The R&B star was spied leaving the New York apartment of Kanye West this weekend, in yet another eye-catching - and clearly expensive – new gown.

Fans gathered outside were delighted by the big-ticket black and white strapless creation, but Rihanna, 21, was not telling on why she was there.

And the mystery deepens - Kanye, 32, is said to have split from long-time squeeze, Amber Rose, just a few days ago, so he’s back on the market. Word is, she was playing some footsie with Philadelphia hip-hop exponent, Cassidy, and Kanye cut her loose on the spot. Now Rihanna drops by - in come-get-me couture.

A coincidence? I rather doubt it.

Both are successful, and there’s no record of Kanye ever raising a hand to his ladies, so this could be special. Keep it tuned here and we’ll keep you informed.

Kanye West officially released his shoe designs for Louis Vuitton during Paris’ Fashion Week, his first real step into the fashion world after his failed attempt at taking the clothing industry by storm a few years ago.

Vuitton seems quite happy with West’s kicks, which are a testament to his own style, which has been considered an eclectic mix between modern hip hop, and old school prep.

This is only one of the names that West is now working for, with Nike set to release his shoe brand ‘Air Yeezy’ later this spring, as he makes good on his promise to become a name is fashion.

The KWLV loafer-sneakers are set to be shown at today’s Vuitton show, and they will be available for purchase in June.

‘Voice of our generation’ Kanye West, is reportedly chasing after supermodel Sessilee Lopez.  Kanye personally selected the supermodel beauty to appear in his music video for the single ‘Flashing Lights,’ and apparently developed a crush.

A tattletale friend of Sessilee’s is quoted by Britain’s The Sun newspaper as saying: “Kanye was instantly smitten with Sessilee and it’s not hard to see why. But it’s more than just looks for Kanye, they get on really well and have a deep connection.  Recently, Kanye has invited Sessilee to several parties and the pair have also had a few quiet nights together.”

However, it seems 31-year-old Kanye who has been officially single since splitting from fiancee Alexis Phifer in April, faces competition for the American models affections.

Sessilee who appeared  at Victoria’s Secret fashion show in Miami earlier this month (photo right) is one of the hottest models around and is being romantically pursued by a host of handsome stars.

So, the voice of our generation aka Kanye West was busted by the cops at his hotel in Gateshead, England early this morning according TMZ. He was arrested for allegedly getting into some kind of violent altercation with a photog outside of the Tup Tup club in Newcastle.

This isn’t Kanye’s first pap smackdown. He was arrested in September for getting rough with a pap, but charges were never filed. The photog claims Kanye smashed his camera into his face in around 2AM London time. According to the snapper, it all went down when Kanye was leaving the club with 4 girls, upset that he was being captured on film.

The cops in England released Kanye after a short investigation this morning. They probably finally realized who they were dealing with … Because in a new interview with the AP, Kanye humbly tells that he is the voice of his generation:

“I realize that my place and position in history is that I will go down as the voice of this generation, of this decade, I will be the loudest voice. It’s me settling into that position of just really accepting that it’s one thing to say you want to do it and it’s another thing to really end up being like Michael Jordan. There were people who had the potential to do it but they went on vacation, so when Justin (Timberlake) went on vacation I made albums. And it just came out to be that.”

It’s on again! A new rap chart battle between Kanye West and 50 Cent will likely happen this December as both will release new albums. West won the last showdown when his album Graduation outsold 50’s Curtis last year (Sep07), after both records were released on the same day. Supposedly 50 said before the last album showdown: “If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on Sept. 11, I’ll no longer write music. I’ll write music and work with my other artists, but I won’t put out any more solo albums.”

And now the rappers are set for another pre-Christmas showdown, with Interscope record bosses confirming 50’s new album, Before I Self Destruct, will hit stores on December 9, (08) - a week before the release of West’s 808’s & Heartbreak.

Both rappers are warming up for the showdown. At a show in Albany, New York, 50 jokingly performed a bit of West’s recent single, “Love Lockdown,” while G-Unit member Tony Yayo pretended to smash a camera, referring to West’s arrest after a confrontation with paparazzi in Los Angeles last week.

West has already taken to his blog posting on Friday in good humor: “I guarantee this (808’s & Heartbreak) will be 50’s favorite album of mine. This will be gangster’s album of the year.”

It’s still possible that one of the record labels might blink and change the release dates but somehow with so much pride on the line we doubt it.
