(HMG) – Britney Spears was taken to the emergency room of a Los Angeles hospital this afternoon, according to X17. The first thing that comes to mind is some kind of incident related to her bipolar condition, but it doesn’t seem to be the case. Reportedly though, the car she was in escorted by police didn’t appear to be moving fast enough for it to be considered an emergency. Photographers spotted Britney walking into the children’s wing of UCLA Medical Center’s Mattel Children’s Hospital. Her children were not seen at the hospital, so I wonder if maybe she is just paying a special visit to an ailing child?  We will update when we find out more.

(HMG) – I am not going to embed the video, because I suspect Britney Spears management will see to it getting shut down sooner or later, which would be a likely sign it is authentic.  This kind of reminds me of the late Linda McCartney’s isolated microphone from the soundboard of a Wings concert, years ago.  Supposedly this is a recording of the actual vocal feed straight from Britney Spears’ microphone.  The footage allegedly filmed in Las Vegas for HBO, goes for about 4 minutes and before anyone dismisses it I would advise listening to the end, because you get a chance to hear the person’s speaking voice addressing the audience.  Is it real, I can’t say, but it might make some rethink their objection to Britney’s lip-synching? click here for the YouTube Video

[HMG] – We can all gain a few pounds without noticing much, but Britney Spears’ ex-husband, Kevin Federline took the Golden-Arches award last Summer for added dimension.

And he now claims even he was shocked by the pictures;

“When I saw this picture, I didn’t think I was this big,” he told the News. “I thought it was photoshopped, you know? Then I realized I was just letting myself go.”

Seeing his paparazzi nickname change from ‘K-Fed’ to ‘K-Fat’ might also have helped. But Kev now says the stress of the divorce made him eat more, and he once tipped the scales at 240-pounds.

He’s 6′0” tall, so that’s at least 60-pounds above healthy.

“I went through a lot of things and I’d definitely say those contributed to my weight gain,” admits the 31-year-old rapper.

Kevin won’t reveal how much he’s lost since joining VH1’s ‘Celebrity Fit Club,’ but he says his two sons – 5-year old Sean and 4-year old Jayden – have been a great help in his achieving a less triangular shape.

“It was easier to eat more when they were younger because they weren’t as active,” he explained. “Now they want to play sports, and run around the backyard and ride bikes.”

You can see the payoff from all these exertions when K-Fed joins Bobby Brown, Sebastian Bach and ex ‘Baywatch’ star Nicole Eggert on VH1’s new season of “Celebrity Fit Club,” which debuts on February 8th.

[HMG] – The man on whom the blame can rightly be placed for inflicting not only Britney Spears, but Jessica Simpson, Justin Timberlake and the Backstreet Boys on the world now wants to cause us more pain: He’s signed Jersey Shore’s Pauly D.

Credited with [or blamed for?] discovering her, Larry’s media-management skills made a shy, gawky teenager into Britney Spears back in 1998. Now the Post says the Bronx-born master of mass manipulation is planning to work the same magic on the buffed-up Pauly D.

And it looks like he picked the right target – The 28-year old Rode Island-born DJ, who has been spinning records since he was only sixteen is already cashing in on his MTV-hype driven fame, demanding $7,000+ for one night at a club.

Neither Pauly’s Facebook, nor Larry’s make any mention of what their joint plans might be, but if Larry continues the same level of ceaseless, brainless promotional hype MTV uses you can expect Pauly to be on your TV more often than dust!

(HMG) – The last time Britney Spears started speaking in a British accent, she was well on her way to the crazy train, during her stay at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles when she arrived there in January 2008 for treatment.  Now exactly two years later she’s back on her British accent kick but hopefully this doesn’t mean she is off her meds or any other type of regression.  Apparently she has become a big fan of television’s animated hit Family Guy particularly baby Stewie Griffin, voiced by show creator Seth MacFarlane, and it has awakened Britney’s alter ego.  Reportedly she’s been wandering around Los Angeles’ Mondrian Hotel trying to sound like Stewie, and has been addressing hotel staff in the voice much to their amusement.

“Britney has developed a real fascination for Family Guy,’ a source told British newspaper The Sun. “She’s been staying in the hotel’s penthouse suite and has been watching box sets. She really likes Stewie and has been trying to copy his British accent,” said the insider. “It’s a bit weird, especially when she’s in the gym speaking like a camp Brit.”

[HMG] – In proof the holidays are finally over, the Britney Spears circus has started again – This time, the word is she’s dumped Jason Trawick after he was spied with a lady who looked just like Brit.

The formerly hi-profile couple are now, so we’re told, on a trial separation after Brit heard Jason was flirting with not one, but two alluring brunettes at the ‘Roger Room,’ a popular bar on La Cienega Boulevard in downtown LA.

He then left with a blonde on his arm.

“Jason left with two bottles of water, and a stunning girl who looked like Britney did five years ago,” says fellow bar fly,  Ella Davis. “He had his arm around her and they looked like they were together for the night.”

A source close to Brit says the 28-year old star was quite broken up by the news of Jason’s…companion;

“This isn’t the first time Britney’s been let down by a man,” says the friend. “When she heard Jason had been seen it was the last straw. She’s absolutely gutted and feels betrayed.”

But a close friend of Jason’s has defended his pal;

“Jason’s a great guy, and loyal. This is really out of character.” they told the Spy. “He tried to calm Britney down and explain the girls were just friends, but they still had a massive row.”

The couple have been together since last March, and Big Daddy Spears is said to approve – despite a ten-year age gap. Rumors were floating the next step was marriage – but that may well change after this.
