Brendan Fraser and wife Afton Smith, end nine-year marriage

39-year-old actor Brendan Fraser and his wife of nine years, Afton, announced today that they will be getting a divorce. The couple wed in 1998 and have three children.
“They continue to maintain a close and caring friendship,” Fraser’s publicist, Ina Treciokas, said in a statement.
The Canadian film and stage actor’s screen credits include George of the Jungle, The Mummy and Crash.
