Bizzare news about Boy George, no way?  The 1980s pop-star turned DJ Boy George has been charged with false imprisonment after he allegedly chained a male escort - 28-year-old in Ravey Street, to a wall in his apartment. 

Scotland Yard said the 47-year-old musician, real name George O’ Dowd,was charged over an incident at his flat in the trendy Shoreditch area of east London on April 28.

Boy George was released on police bail and told to appear before magistrates in east London on November 22.

Last August, the former Culture Club singer traded in his microphone for a shovel and basket to complete a week of community service in New York after admitting that he falsely reported a burglary at his lower Manhattan apartment.  Police who responded found cocaine instead.
