Angelina Jolies revealing remarks at the Santa Barbara Film Festival  

Brad and Angelina were at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, which honored Jolie for her performance in “The Mighty Heart,” with the Outstanding Performance of the Year Award.  Her director in “The Changeling,” Clint Eastwood presented Angelina with the award.

After signing autographs and posing for photos Jolie took the podium to give comments as her film career was reviewed on the screen. In so doing she revealed many things about her personal life to a crowd of anxious fans and industry insiders.

Here are some of the highlights:

On being technologically impaired:
“As Brad knows, I don’t really know how to turn on a computer.”

On working with ex-husband and Pushing Tin costar Billy Bob Thornton
I thought he was an amazing artist, and still is.”

On working with her estranged father Jon Voight in Tomb Raider:
“Strangely enough, the scene was about a daughter and her father who had not spent their lives together and had a lot of questions for each other …[It was] kind of therapeutic for us to get some things out and talk. We spent that time as two artists, and it was a special time. It was an important time.”

On who was the better Tango dancer on Mr. & Mrs. Smith:
“I think we’re about equal,” she replied. “Equally not so good.”

On starring in Mr & Mrs. Smith with Brad Pitt:
“obviously I’m very glad I did it - It changed my life.”

On what her first passion humanitarian efforts or acting:
“I love being a mom, and I think that’s my big passion: being with my family.”

A particularly poignant response given the strong rumor of another baby on the way.
