Amy Winehouse trashes her plush hotel room

Amy Winehouse is becoming the ultimate “rock ‘n roll” cliché, after causing thousands of dollars worth of damage to her hotel room.
The recovering drug addicted wreck, has been living in London’s plush Riverbank hotel since leaving rehab almost 2 weeks ago - and her room hasn’t been cleaned since.
Winehouse refused to allow cleaners access to the room, but hotel management finally broke in while she was performing at the Brit awards on Wednesday - and were shocked to find almost $6,000 worth of damage.
Alcohol was spilled all over the wooden hallway, and the floor was strewn in champagne bottles and unwashed knickers. The blackened bath had to be scrubbed and unclogged - after she had washed and dyed her famous rat’s nest in the tub.
A hotel insider revealed:
“It was carnage. It was covered in booze and cigarette butts, absolutely disgusting. The bed hadn’t been changed since she arrived and most of the room had been used as an ashtray. There was dirty underwear everywhere and the place smelt incredibly stale. She had taken a mirror off the wall and laid it on the floor. One can only guess what for. She’d also taken down all the pictures. “The bath had to be scrubbed and unblocked from balls of matted hair. “It took three maids two hours to get it in a habitable order.”
