Barbara Walters annual “10 Most Fascinating People” special is set to debut on December 4 (Thursday) on ABC. Rumor has it that Barbara has name president elect Barack Obama her “Most Fascinating Person of 2008.” Last year Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling took the number one spot.
Right now, the ABC News empress isn’t even acknowledging that the President-elect will appear on her annual roundup of newsmakers. Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Michael Phelps, Frank Langella, Miley Cyrus, Tina Fey and Rush Limbaugh are the known guests.

Teenage sensation Miley Cyrus is kind of getting a reputation for behaving badly lately. Most recently at the Hollywood premiere for her new ”Bolt” film, co-starring John Travolta, sources backstage reportedly said Cyrus ”was really ugly” when talking about her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. In truth it’s the typical stuff young teenagers and their fathers fight about.
Seems the young superstar is now getting pressure from Billy Ray who seems to be stepping up his fathering and wants to allegedly now stop her relationship with ex-underwear model Justin Gaston (he introduced them to each other in the first place). Miley however was overheard to not be taking to the parenting intervention well according to sources:
”Miley is totally smitten by the guy and thinks her father is a total jerk because he doesn’t want her to date Justin. … Billy Ray, and a lot of other people close to Miley, think the guy is a total leech … using Miley just to get ahead.”
Justin was recently reported to have behaved in a “controlling” manner during a casting for Miley’s new video.
According to E!, Gaston was “demanding” during the audition process for the ‘Fly On The Wall’ promo.
The 20-year-old model apparently handpicked Cyrus’s love-interest for the video.
“Justin wanted to pick a guy that looked the most like him,” said a source. “That was his only criterion.”
I don’t know if that’s controlling, but it is strange.

Stephen Baldwin has apparently gone to great lengths for his two teenage daughters, Alia, 15, and Hailey, 12, who are huge Miley Cyrus fans. The Hannah Montana star and the born-again Christian actor met last year at a function in Washington D.C. where Cyrus dared Baldwin to have the letters H and M – the initials of her character inked. In return she offered him a cameo on her show.
Well Baldwin turned up in Cyrus’ Nashville, Tennessee hometown this past Monday to promote his new book, and the Cyrus were invited to the studio to meet the 42-year-old where he showed off his tattoo. According to TMZ, Cyrus has agreed to keep her side of the bargain, and Baldwin will appear in a future episode of her Disney TV show.
Two other young notables have also been invited to join the Hannah Montana cast for an episode. The young daughters of President-elect Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, 10-year-old Malia and 7-year-old Sasha could appear on the show. Billy Ray Cyrus, father of ‘Hannah’ star Miley Cyrus, told ‘the Access Hollywood’ show that
‘The invitation is there,’ he said, adding that any guest shots would take place next spring.
‘Maybe something might happen around then,’ he said.
When Billy Ray Cyrus was pressed for more information he said: ‘I can’t, I can’t. I have got to keep a secret.’

Some of us are a bit horrified seeing 15-year old Miley Cyrus (she turns 16 on Nov. 23) dating a 20-year-old Christian underwear model Justin Gaston (above), which her papa seems perfectly okay with. She’s recently (Thursday) made an on air appearance on Ryan Seacrest’s show where she explained on how she’s doing with the much older Beau saying: I’ve Learned Not to “Worry About the Age.”
We are so relieved to hear that but if they are having sex, which one worries about when a precocious 15-year-old spends so much time with a 20-year-old, then it’s not only wrong, it’s illegal. I know they’re both ‘good Christian’s’ and mom and dad are watching them closely but let’s not be naive. By the way that photo is Justin at the top left. These photos hit the internet a few days back. This is one of the less provocative shots. The photos don’t make him bad in anyway, it does perhaps show though he is a normal young man who likes to have some fun too. These are kids with raging hormones and plenty of means to sneak off together. Actually the tabloids say they probably won’t need to sneak off.
Star Magazine claims Miley Cyrus is on the hunt for her own apartment, and according to the National Enquirer, Miley and Justin are practically living together!
Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus are reportedly so taken with the young underwear model they’ve allowed him to stay at the family’s California home several night’s a week.
Miley is allowed to have Justin in her room, but the two are supposed to keep the door open. What keeps them from sneaking into each other’s rooms in the middle of the night though? An insider tells the tabloid:
“Justin is the guy Miley’s parents see her settling down with a few years down the line,” a inside source tells. “He’s handsome, talented, clean-living, goes to church and knows his Bible-a real catch.”
The insider adds: “Billy Ray wasn’t born yesterday. He figures the safest path to take is to keep Miley and Justin on a short leash-and under the same roof.”
That’s some real not so clever thinking.
