Cast Of Jersey Shore Back On Strike?

(HMG) – Sounds like the cast of Jersey Shore are holding out for more money again.  The gang was supposed to begin shooting scenes this weekend for season 3, however, JWoww, Ronnie, Sammi, PaulyD and Vinny have refused to let crews film them until they get new contracts, according to TMZ.   Word is that Snooki and The Situation will follow suit.

Sources say that “the cast feels they can make more money doing appearances for two months, rather than filming the show.”

This is Deja Vu all over again as in January, there were fierce negotiations after season 1, as MTV gave a deadline at the end of business Friday, for The Situation, Snooki, Pauly D and the rest of the cast of Jersey Shore to accept their last offer, or all be replaced. The offer on the table, which was $10,000 per episode was finally accepted.

A big part of the contract dispute this time according to RadarOnline, is because the cast of Jersey Shore had original two-season deal became muddied when MTV decided to break season 2 into two parts, which they are contractually calling “cycle” 2A and 2B.

“MTV is taking the position that they are still in season 2, even though the cast may look at it as season 3 and therefore not covered by their existing deals,” the source explains.
