Tiger Woods New Girlfriend

(HMG Celebrity News) – While the stories of the numerous affairs and his eventual but inevitable divorce from Elin Nordegren are now behind him, it’s clear that Tiger Woods‘ private life will remain under a microscope for years to come.

Apparently the media has caught wind that Tiger has had a girlfriend for a few months and is busy finding out everything they can about her.  According to RadarOnline the name of Tiger Woods new girlfriend is Alyse Lahti Johnston, and she is a 22 year old college student reportedly attending the Ohio-based Northwood University, which also has a campus in West Palm Beach, Florida near where Tiger lives.

The Tiger Woods new girlfriend, Alyse Lahti Johnston’s biological father is former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Jeff Lahti and her stepfather is an executive at sports agency IMG that represents the golfer. Beyond that the coverage starts getting annoying with headlines of the age difference and Alyse’s supposed shocking resemblance (she’s also a blonde) to Elin Nordegren, her photo is here on her Facebook page so judge for yourself.

By the way taking photos from her Facebook account and publishing them without permission or acknowledgment of where they came from is at a minimum pretty low if not downright illegal.  And speaking of crossing the line a few sites have been quick to bring out a horrific mug shot of the Tiger Woods new girlfriend from a suspicion of DUI arrest last year.

For the record she eventually pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of reckless driving and was ordered to take DUI classes and submit to a substance abuse evaluation and report to probation.  With Tiger’s fame and recent notoriety, fair or not the gloves are off on how he is scrutinized and portrayed in the media, but to start demonizing some young college student he is allegedly dating is really kind of over the top.
