[HMG Celebrity News] – After one of the longest, most public divorces in modern history, one of the few secrets left has now been revealed — The Tiger Woods divorce settlement received by Elin Nordegren from her ex, Tiger Woods was a cool $110 million.
But friends claims that despite her new wealth, Elin’s not throwing money around. Before the split she could use Tiger’s private jet, but last week she flew from Orlando to LA and back on Virgin America.
“She could afford the jet but didn’t even consider it,” claims one insider. “She’s not cheap, she’s just not wasting money the way some people would.”
The snitch also says Elin is cutting down on household expenses after the Tiger Woods divorce settlement.
“She has cut back on the hours some people work,” a friend told Radar. “But she’s not acting like she hit the lottery.”
And while her payoff is around 12-times what Rachel Uchitel received, some people think that, with Tiger’s net worth guessed at $500-million she could have got even more from the Tiger Woods divorce settlement..
“Tiger is worth hundreds of millions with the deals he’s made,” a source told Radar. “She wanted enough to not change her lifestyle, but she didn’t try to take him for every penny she could.”
The same enabling friends say Elin now plans to ‘move on with her life.’ And those plans may include a new home in Florida, where Tiger has a mansion — valued around $80-million.
Their divorce was long and often bitter, and sources say one major cause of delay was Tiger’s desire to have access to their two children; three year old Sam, and her brother Charlie, who’s just 18-months.
“Tiger was worried Elin would move back to Sweden and take them,” the source said. “That was a bigger hang up than the money. Making sure he had access was crucial for Tiger.”

The real cost to Tiger is his own compass of high standards to his family and to golf profesionals around the world.
We looked up to Tiger and they way he played, his style and quality of a wholesome life. I for one am dissapointed in his conduct, as I was led to believe he was not only coached in quality golf but of a quality person that people in sport can appreciate. His game in the future I am sure will be excellent, however the esteem of he as a person will not hold up to the Tiger, a husband to Elin and father of his two children will not. He will be just a great player. Dignity is hard to achieve under those rules.
The divorce is over, both have moved on, now everyone including the media leave them alone.
i believe that Elin received to much money, I guess pre nups arent worth the paper that they are written on. She had nothing with they married but she is now weathly and can jet set between here and Sweden. Everyone talks about Tiger and his misdeeds, give her time Elin will fall off her pedstal and we will see.
i think Elin should have gotten more money, after what Tiger subjected her to.
For the rest of her life she will be known as the woman who Tiger cheated on with 121 women.

Life is basically to do what u want as long as you don’t infringe on others rights!! His problem was that he had a wife and a society that wants to limit him. He didnt have a sexual addiction….he’s a man!! Since when did you need counseling if you want to have sex with other consenting adults. He shouldn’t have got married young and to conservative Betty (Elin). He’s not running for the president of the United States or any political office. Let him be!! Parents need to be a role model to thier own kids and stop blaming other people for their own faults and let downs!! Elin made 110 millions without swinging a golf club or playing in 1 tournament….enjoy!!
What Tiger Woods did to Elin Nordegren and the children was criminal, coward and truly undeserved!!! Tiger will pay for what he did because no one can escape KARMA!!! It is great that Elin is free to move on with her life taking care of herself and her children, free to enjoy life again and to have a bright and happy future!
