Weddings are supposed to be a financial burden normally but if you are a Hollywood superstar, then the rules change quite significantly in your favor. Enter the Kim Kardashian wedding!

The cost incurred behind the lavish wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries is somewhere around the $10 million mark. But surprisingly, the 30-year old celebutante didn’t have to pay a dime out of her pocket. That is because a number of sponsors volunteered to pay her wedding expenses, just so that they can get their brand names attached to the star-studded event.

Las Vegas-based Tao nightclub, where Kim’s bachelorette party took place a few weeks ago, reportedly paid her $50,000 to get the honor of hosting. Her stepdad Bruce Jenner then negotiated a $1.5 million deal with a publication that will give them the exclusive rights to release the photos of the Kim Kardashian wedding.

Most of the other expenses were also either covered in full by sponsors or she received a huge discount that turned the gigantic amounts into nominal ones. Sponsors go through all that, just to get a mention in the media that their product or service was used by Kim.

The Kim Kardashian wedding invitations were printed at a cost of $10,000 but of course she didn’t have to pay a single thing as long as it was leaked to the media that Lehr and Black printed them. Same was the case with the $6,000 cake bill, which Hansen’s Cakes agreed to provide for free.

Her party pad at the Palazzo hotel, where she stayed on her night of her bachelorette part, costs $2,000 for the normal customers. But for Kim, it was free.

Wedding gown specialist Vera Wang also gifted her three dresses for the big occasion. The collective cost of all three is reportedly $60,000.

It is a well-known fact that the diamond rings her new husband Kris bought for the proposal was worth $2 million, even more expensive than the one Prince William used to propose Kate with. But Lorraine Schwartz dramatically reduced its price for the New Jersey Nets forward and that brought the piece of jewelry within his range.
