“The tease over who’ll make the dress when Kim Kardashian marries Kris Humphries has gone on for weeks, but the answer is finally out.” – Vera Wang. Many of us are big fans of the versatile Kim Kardashian dresses. However, the wait is finally over and you can finally check out what Kim Kardashian will be wearing at her wedding.

“I am so excited to reveal that Vera Wang is my wedding dress designer,” Kim wrote on her blog. “Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years…No one designs gowns the way she does!

Already called ‘Royal Wedding 2.0′ and set to occur in just 18 days, the event has captured the minds of a large swathe of people, and Vera is clearly among them.

“What a glorious moment!” she gushed at reporters yesterday when the choice was confirmed. “I’m so thrilled to be dressing Kim for her wedding.”

As for Kris, he was spied enjoying a bachelor night with some friends at New York’s Axe Lounge on Sunday. He arrived around midnight with a seven-strong entourage including best friend, Josh Ketroser.

The guys quaffed champagne at a VIP table and stayed until 3am. Kris also took pictures with DJ Vice, but that was as raw as it got. Sources say the 6’9″ groom-to-be spent a lot of the evening texting Kim in LA. So the dude is clearly in love.

“He loved the music and was taking photos with DJ Vice,” says a spy. “They were having a blast.”

Overall the choice of Vera wasn’t much of a shock. She has designed many Kim Kardashian dresses and she also designed Khloe’s dress when she married Lamar Odom on September 27, 2009. And Kim and her klan set off even more rumors way back in June when they visited Vera’s Bridal House in West Hollywood.

“Kim and I often spoke of creating a fantasy wedding gown,” Wang said at the time. “I’m so excited! As a friend of the Kardashian / Jenner clan, I wish them all the joy in the world.”

So there we have it. Vera’s on the mound and the groom’s on cloud nine. Eighteen days and counting until you get to catch a glimpse of the most wonderful dress of all the Kim Kardashian dresses…so who do you suppose will call it off first?
