Look out Lady Gaga games! Lady Goo Goo, the viral video sensation from Moshi Monsters in the UK, has sparked the wrath of the real Lady Gaga.  The glam diva filed an injunction against the creators of the popular baby animated version of Lady Gaga.  Lady Goo Goo is famous for dishing out Gaga’s hits in kid-friendly versions.

Moshi Monsters and its Lady Gaga games is like a Facebook for kids which feature Lady Goo Goo.  Gaga also filed an injunction against the parent company of the site, Mind Candy.  The company is the creator of the Lady Gaga’s cartoon version.   The singer’s hits like Paparazzi have a Lady Goo Goo version called “Peppy-razzi”.  The melody is the same but the lyrics have been changed for the kid viewers.

Apparently, Lady Gaga’s lawyers did not find this amusing despite the popularity of the Goo Goo videos and Lady Gaga games.  The song was remarkably a hit since it was arranged to be made available on iTunes.  The court injunction laid down by the High Court of London was in favour of Lady Gaga’s position.  According to the court’s decision, Lady Goo Goo and its songs may cause confusion among the people.  The court is then ordering Moshi Monsters to stop releasing any song of Lady Gaga.  Naturally, the iTunes deal is cancelled.

The court judge also ordered Mind Candy to stop the advertising and promotion of The Moshi Dance or any other song belonging to Gaga under the name of Lady Goo Goo.  This applies to any other character in future Lady Gaga games.  However, the court still allowed the appearance of Goo Goo in the Moshi Monsters game. Lady Gaga couldn’t any more be happier.
