After a severe scolding from a judge yesterday for missing community service appearances, Linsday Lohan was given punitive community service — at the LA County Morgue starting today at 9am.

But when the clock struck nine, Lohan was nowhere to be found. 30 minutes, still nothing. Her assistant finally called and let them down she was on her way. Sound familiar?

After 40 minutes, Lohan finally arrived but the morgue turned her away and told her to come back the next day — at the same time threatening to inform her probation officer of missing yet another community service appearance. Ouch.

Realizing how much crap she might be again, she took to Twitter: “With all of the stress and pressure from yesterday and today, I’ve never been so happy to go to therapy!!!! Also, I’m sorry for the confusion that I may of caused to those at the Coroner’s office. Won’t happen again, now I know where to go! Thank you for your help.”

If you’re new to the situation, you’d think, damn this girl can’t catch a break. But, nine late appearances? Does she have an alarm clock?

The other day Lohan defended her lapses in judgement: “I just want it to be known, that just because I was not followed&photographed during the times I’ve gone to community service”

Excuses, excuses. Celebrity problems.

Lohan will be back in court November 2, if she can make it on time. She faces 18 months behind bars. Given her latest scolding and her continual tardiness, most believe she’ll be serving some time. But due to overflow of inmates, it definitely won’t be the full term.

The actress posted bail on Wednesday, which was set at $100,000, and “is hoping this matter will be resolved on November 2 and the Court will reinstate probation and allow her to continue fulfilling her community service.”
