Gone are the days of  bankruptcy and embarrassment as Stanley Burrell (aka MC Hammer) joins the celebrity fueled investments of Silicon Valley.

Often flocked by star-struck entrepreneurs and investors, MC Hammer has found his presence in the up and coming technology world more than welcomed. So much so, he’s been matched with founders who are willing to give him a huge equity stake in a new startup called WireDoo.

What is WireDoo? It’s in private beta still but the best explanation so far from Hammer is he’s trying to do what Google search is already good at but better. Sound like a fabulous idea?

Yeah, we didn’t think so either. And yes, we’re questioning Hammer’s real involvement in a very technical venture. BUT, let’s not rush to judgement. MC Hammer’s surprised many with his entrepreneurial savvy as of late. Following or adjacent stepping with fellow angel investor Ashton Kutcher?

They do both have the same “investing” mentors and Kutcher has money in another search engine: Blekko, which for the most part hasn’t really helped with selling the startup to the non-technical world of searchers. Maybe MC Hammer has another plan. One things for sure — we better be able to find some 2 legit 2 quit lyrics.
