Hilary Duff confirms sex of baby, talks pregnancy with Ellen

HILARY DUFF who is expecting her first child, will make an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Monday, October 17th. Hilary talks with Ellen about her pregnancy, how she is feeling and how she shared the news with her husband. Plus, Ellen tries to guess the sex of the baby and Hilary reveals that she is having a baby boy!

Hilary on how she is feeling during her pregnancy

Ellen: How are you feeling?

Hilary: I feel great, actually. It’s been super easy.

Ellen: ..There has been no morning sickness or anything?

Hilary: No, but it’s kind of like a little alien has taken over your body. You just don’t quite feel normal. But it’s cool.It’s been good.

Ellen: No sickness?

Hilary: No sickness, but crazy dreams.

Hilary on how she told her husband, Mike Comrie

Ellen: How did you share the news with your husband?

Hilary: My husband makes this joke that I think I’m pregnant like 12 times a year. Every since we got married, he’s like, you always think this blah, blah, blah. So when it actually happened he was in the shower. I think sometimes when you imagine it you think you’re going to do it in some cute way….I just ran in and he was in the shower and I just held up the test and I was like, oh my god. And he was like AHH! He was soaking wet. We were just like a mess and started crying. It was really exciting.

Ellen: Well, that’s a really super sweet way too.

On the sex of the baby

Ellen: Do you know what you are having?

Hilary: I do but I haven’t told anyone yet. I wanted to tell you first.

Ellen: Really…wow.

Hilary: Yes, I just found out.

Ellen guesses the sex of the baby and Hilary confirms she is having a boy!

Hilary: What do think…

Ellen: I don’t know. I can’t see that you’re even pregnant.

Hilary: I am

Ellen: It’s pretty early on, right?

Hilary: I’m a little over four months.

Ellen: Are you craving anything?

Hilary: I’m not. It’s just the weird dreams. Everything else is pretty normal.

Ellen: I don’t have a clue. I’m just going to guess boy.

Hilary: It’s a boy! Good job. I had feeling it was a boy the whole time…
