Grammy Award Winner T.I. Officially Released From Prison … Again
Rapper T.I. was released from an Atlanta halfway house Thursday morning, his lawyer said.
Hip hop artist T.I. , whose real name is Clifford Harris, Jr. completed his 11-month prison sentence today — after a short two-week stint at a halfway house. He will be on probation for one year.
The rapper had spent 7 months in prison already as a result of confessing to federal gun charges in 2009. Sadly he followed that up by being caught with drugs by a motorcycle officer in Beverly Hills. Those charges were dropped by he failed a drug test given by his parole officer which triggered his latest prison stint of which he has now completed.
He previously won two Grammy Awards in 2006.
