The new lingerie ad of one of Hollywood’s hottest moms is in danger of being taken of the air.  The Women’s Rights Secretariat of a Brazilian government agency has requested the National Advertising Council to stop showing the ad, branding it as encouragement of a typical stereotype for women.

Letting the Bundchen’s ad show will reinforce the idea of women as sex objects.  Apparently, the women’s rights groups in Brazil are sensitive to such issues.  Brazilian women are certainly not ashamed of their sensuality as most of them are seen prancing around in itsy-bitsy bikinis that will put American women to shame.  The Women’s Rights Secretariat does not want more of that splashed all over media.

The Hope Lingerie ad is shows Bundchen in a sheath dress then suddenly, she lost her clothes and is seen in bra and panties.  In the scene, she was telling her husband that she exceeded her credit card limit and crashed the car.  The ad was meant for Brazilian audiences.  Hope Lingerie, a Brazilian brand for women’s underwear, wants to convey the message that the sensuality of the Brazilian woman is her best defense when relating bad news.

Who could get mad at the image of Gisele wearing only her underwear? No sane man will certainly do that.  After getting married and having a child, Gisele’s body is still to die for.  The sexy mommy and one of the world’s famous models will surely get away with just about anything when she’s wearing only lingerie.
