ABC’s Dancing with the Stars Gears Up for New Season
ABC’s Dancing with the Stars opens another season on Sept. 19, 8:00 to 10:00 P.M., ET. Dancing with the Stars will open its 13th season with 6 new pairs of celebrity contestants who will vie for the coveted mirror ball trophy.
The new season will be hosted by Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke, a former champion from the show’s 7th season.
The show is a long-time running hit series, well-known for its competing celebrities showcasing their top moves on the dance floor. The choreography of each dance routine and the overall performance of each pair must stand out in order to win the competition. The judges for this season are popular dance choreographers, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, and ballroom dance judge, Len Goodman.
Among the celebrities, Chaz Bono, son of the famous Sonny and Cher, is ready to wow the judges. Bono already declares he has good chemistry with professional partner, Lacy Schwimmer despite recent gripe and negativity surrounding his appearance in the hit show. The other stars who are set to show their dancing abilities are actors David Arquette and J.R. Martinez, legal analyst for HLN, Grace, reality TV fame Ron Kardashian and Kirstin Cavallari. Completing the line-up are Chynna Phillips, model Elisabetta Canalis, Ricki Lake, Carson Kressley and soccer icon Hope Solo.
The celebrities will undergo extensive training with their partners who are also professional dancers. The new season of Dancing with the Stars promises to bring audiences the thrill of the competition and the glamour and drama behind each choreographed dance routine.
