The dramatic first episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aired a few days ago just weeks after Taylor Armstrong’s husband, Russell, committed suicide. But if anything, things are about to get juicer off-screen.

The coroner’s reports finally concluded yesterday that the embattled father and husband hanged did indeed hang himself — there also was no drugs or alcohol in his system. However, his family is not satisfied with the results. Appearing on multiple CNN shows yesterday, Russell’s mother and sister want a deeper investigation into the matter.

“Absolutely it was not a suicide,” said Armstrong’s sister, Laurie Armstrong Kelsoe. “The way we were raised, Christian, suicide was not an option.”

“I don’t think he would do this,” agreed his mother, John Ann Hotchkiss. “He loved his family. He loved his children almost to a fault. They were everything to him.”
