Was the Deceased Friend of Russell Armstrong His Gay Lover?
According to celebrity news website TMZ.com, a close friend and business associate of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Russell Armstrong committed suicide just 24 hours after Russell hung himself in his bedroom.
Could this be the case in which someone commits suicide after learning of his lover’s demise? In a classic piece of 2+2 journalism, we think this could very well be the case here.
The man named Alan Schram was close friends with Russell and both of them were the members of a group name “Tiger 21.” Through this group, wealthy businessmen used to gather under one roof and talk about what’s hot in the investment business. Exactly why a bankrupt businessman like Russell would be a part of an investment fraternity like “Tiger 21” is quite puzzling.
Schram, who was the managing partner of a hedge fund in Los Angeles, was found on August 16 with a single gunshot wound to the head. His body was lying beside his car on Mulholland Drive.
It was through the “Tiger 21” group that their friendship strengthened and during Russell’s funeral, some of the stars of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” were seen talking about how shocking it is to see two men committing suicide in such a short space of time.
Russell’s motive for suicide is quite clear as both his career and marital life was on the verge of disaster. But no suicide note was found with Schram’s dead body and it remains unclear why he chose to take his own life.
