John Slattery: January Jones is not a bitch to little kids on set

January Jones is one foxy lady but her ego seems to have jilted a few of her colleagues in Hollywood. Even a little kid who played her son on the hit AMC show Mad Men. In a startling interview with child actor Jared Gilmore, who plays Jones’ son on the show, TV Guide got the scoop on what the 11-year old really thought of Jones.

“Be careful around January. She’s not as approachable as the others,” Jared told TV Guide.

He’s not the only one who’s made references to Jones’ bitch-like behavior — Hangover star and funnyman Zach Galifianakis has made similar claims in the past. And it’s no secret that Hollywood is filled with method actors that mix fact with the fiction of their stressing, intimating characters on the screen a little too much. Christian Bale, anyone?

At least that’s what her co-star John Slattery chalks it up to be. Just a little misunderstanding. He told E!: ”I mean, that’s the character. Betty Draper is an intimidating woman I suppose, if you were a 7-year-old boy [or] her son.”

Mm-hmm, we’ll take his word for it, for now.
