Stephen Colbert Discovers Anderson Cooper’s Kryptonite: Celebrity Poop Puns [VIDEO]

Stephen Colbert is no stranger to puns and more puns. And after Anderson Cooper’s hilarious yet adorable giggle fest over his own jokes about Gerard Depardieu’s peeing on a plane incident, Colbert may have a competitor.

But leave it to Colbert to challenge anyone to a pun-filled duel, which of course he did so on his show Thursday night. ”I’ve always been intimidated by Anderson Cooper’s legendary composure under pressure but I think we have finally found Anderson’s weakness,” Colbert joked.

Airing their dirty laundry, Colbert first accused Cooper of copying his Absurd-U-Chart segment with his Ridiculist segment on CNN — the one in which Cooper breaks down laughing. And then laid it on him, ”I am shocked. I am shocked about this behavior from this award winning journalist who stays poised while reporting during a hurricane, visiting an earthquake-ravaged hellscape, fending off rioters in [Pakistan] … but we have found Anderson Cooper’s krpytonite: Celebrity Poop Puns”

He then challenged him to a pun-off with his own celebrity name puns: Dame Dudi Stench, LL Stool J, Dr. Sanjay-poopta, Gretchen Hotcarlson, and Fudge Andrew Napolitano. At which point he started laughing and talking in a high pitch, clearly imitating Cooper’s breakdown.
