Why did ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ husband Russell Armstrong kill himself?

Sad day in the reality TV universe.

The estranged husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong has been found dead in his Los Angeles home. Officials say 47-year old Russell Armstrong was pronounced dead Monday evening.

His death was caused by hanging though a suicide note has not been found.

Speculation is rampant now as to why he would have done this. Russell’s lawyer Ronald Richards told TMZ on Tuesday that Armstrong had huge debt problems but that he had no idea he was depressed. He was facing a lawsuit and apparently his credit cards stopped working.

On top of that, Taylor also filed for divorce around the same time and her issues in keeping her 6-year marriage alive was expected to be a key plot in the next season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, which was slated to start September 5.

They have a five year old daughter named Kennedy.
