Miranda Cosgrove Credits Driver for Saving Her from Death

Miranda Cosgrove has been telling those around her that if her bus driver hadn’t reacted quickly to the situation earlier this morning, the she could have been dead.

Celebrity blog TMZ reported that Miranda was going to Kansas in a bus when an overturned semi-truck suddenly came in their way. The visibility was very poor outside, so her driver couldn’t see the semi from distance. By the time he realized what was lying in front of their bus, it had gotten out of hands.

According to TMZ’s sources, instead of taking a sharp turn to avoid the accident (something that could have overturned their bus as well), the driver kept his cool and decided that the least damage would be done if they crash into the obstructive semi. It turns out that the driver’s heroic quick thinking may have kept all of the passengers alive.

Although Miranda escaped the accident with only a fractured right ankle and a broken toe, it could have been a lot worse and she is grateful to be alive, sources say. Miranda’s mother was also on the bus and she has picked up minor injuries too. Both of them will be discharged from the hospital in a couple of day.

As a result of the unfortunate accident, the teenage singer’s upcoming tour has been postponed and no further info regarding the new dates has been revealed.

The accident’s hero i.e. the bus driver however was not so fortunate, as he was the most badly injured of all the people on the bus.
