Cher and Lady Gaga to Turn “Greatest Thing” Into a Gay Song?
Cher’s “Greatest Thing” was originally a solo song, but she has now decided to involve Lady Gaga and turn it into a duet. The 65-year old veteran broke the news through her twitter account, where she posted: “Can’t wait till GaGa puts her Voice on ‘The Greatest Thing’ SHE WILL ROCK IT SO FKNG HARD!”
According to media reports, “Greatest Thing” was written by Gaga she couldn’t find a place for it in her albums. It was then passed to Cher, who will now be using it on her comeback compilation. The Goddess of Pop recorded the song earlier this month with the help of music producer RedOne and Gaga’s bit is the only missing thing now.
Cher had initially denied that “Greatest Thing” will be a duet, but now she says that Gaga is more than welcome to share it with her. “Who knows ? I Did Hold her ‘Meat Purse’ haha! One can wish! It’s one of her songs & she & Redone gave it to me 4 my cd !”
Gaga quickly warmed up to the idea and she also posted her reply on twitter. “Maybe a remix duet for the gays? You truly are ‘the greatest thing to me’,” the controversial singer, who has already dropped a pro-gay song this year in the form of “Born This Way” tweeted.
