These days, Kelly Rowland is getting ready for the nationwide release of her new solo album “Here I Am.” Everything was going smooth for her until music producer Jeff Bhasker decided to launch an incredible attack on KR’s latest single “Motivation,” which will be a part of her upcoming disc.

Bhasker, whose music-making services have been acquired by big names such as Kanye West, Beyonce and Alicia Keys in the past, revealed his negative thoughts about “Motivation” on micro-blogging website Twitter.

He tweeted, “How can this kr song with the weakest beat and melody of all time be the #1 song on urban!? Oh yeah. [Lil] Wayne.”

The beatsmith’s mention of Lil Wayne seems as if he is trying to say that the rapper’s high profile is the prime reason behind Motivation’s surge to the top.

He also expressed his displeasure at the lyrical aspect of the song by adding, “I just listened to Motivation again to see if I was to harsh in my critique. I wasn’t. The lyrics are horrid as well.”

As expected, the Grammy-winning producer’s comments didn’t go down well with Weezy and Kelly’s hardcore fans. The pressure forced Bhasker to change his tone a bit, although he refused to issue an apology or take back the somewhat undue criticism.

“Here I Am,” on which Rowland has collaborated with artists like Big Sean, Rico Love and David Guetta, will be released on July 26 all over the US.
