After garnering massive fame and criticism through her debut song “Friday,” Rebecca Black has now released her second single titled “My Moment.”

Written by Brandon “Blue” Hamilton, who is famous for producing a bunch of Justin Bieber’s songs, “My Moment” has specially been tailored specially for Black. The song portrays the teenage singer’s rise to stardom and gives the message that she doesn’t care what her haters think about her.

Some of the lyrics go like this: “Were you the one who said that I would be nothing? Well, I’m about to prove you wrong, I’m not the only one who believes in something. My one wish is about to come true. Haters, said I’ll see you later. Can’t talk to you right now, I’m getting my paper.”

Like the lyrics, video is also made to make Black’s detractors feel bad. She is shown doing all kinds of cool ‘star’ stuff such as attending red carpet events, posing in front of cameras, rehearsing with her band, signing autographs, etc.

It should be noted that even though “Friday” put her on the map, most of the fan feedback was negative. And judging by early signs, it seems as if “My Moment” will also fail to impress the more mature listeners.

In less than 24 hours of its release on YouTube, “My Moment” has been viewed more than 640,000 times but its 95,000 dislikes have already outweighed the 59,000 likes.

But whatever other may think about her music, Black is happy that her stuff attracts the masses. “There are SO many people are trying to watch #mymoment all at once, which is why it says the video is unavailable!): ,” she wrote on her Twitter account.
