Ashley Cole Asked to Choose Between Chelsea and Cheryl

If Ashley Cole wants to get back together with his ex-wife Cheryl, then he will have to make some sacrifices.

The Girls Aloud-member is having another go at achieving her American dream in Los Angeles and so she wants Ashley to construct a move away from Chelsea FC and into the footballing obscurity known as “MLS.”

The couple divorced last year and after several temporary hookups, the Chelsea defender has realized the mistakes he made with Cheryl. But according to the sources of British tabloid Dail Mail, Cheryl wants Ashley to fulfill some of her demands before she can think about getting back together.

The source said, “Cheryl has told Ashley that her plan is to work on her solo music in the United States. She says that if he wants to be with her, he would have to be prepared to break his £120,000-a-week deal with Chelsea and play for an American team instead.”

The unidentified source further added, “Ashley has told her he would do virtually anything for her but this could be asking a little too much. He is still at the peak of his game – it would be career suicide for him to move to the US at this stage.”

The British couple’s marriage ended last year after the Ashley’s extramarital activities became public knowledge.

But after some time apart, the duo was back in touch and earlier this month, the England International attended Cheryl’s 28^th birthday to further fuel the ‘reunion’ rumors.

Incase Ashley does decide to follow Cheryl to the US, MLS club Los Angeles Galaxy, which also has David Beckham and London Donovan on their books, could be a good fit.
