‘Real Housewives’ star Taylor Armstrong files divorce

It looks like Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony started a trend – This morning it’s been revealed that ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star, Taylor Armstrong has pulled the plug on her unstable marriage to Russell Armstrong and filed for divorce.

“It was a difficult decision to file for divorce,” 39-year old Taylor told reporters. “Although we’ve tried our best to work out our differences I’ve come to the conclusion it’s in the best interest of our family to separate. I’m sad for my marriage to end but confident this is the right choice for all involved.”

The couple were married in 2005 and have one daughter – Kennedy, who’s clearly loved by both sides.

“Together we’re the proud parents of a sweet and wonderful little girl and she remains my number one priority,” says the proud mom.

Fans of the show saw cracks in the marriage for months. In May it was reported the couple had already split but Taylor denied it and said she and Russell were working it out and had even booked a second honeymoon.

“They’ve gone through therapy and have problems in the marriage which they’re actively working on,” a friend told reporters at the time. “They’re both really committed to making the marriage work.”

Armstrong, 39, and her husband, 47, were married in 2005. She now wants joint legal custody of Kennedy, plus spousal and child support.

Both sides will now hire lawyers and the whole split will no doubt be the focus of future shows. We’ll let you know how sour things get…
