Lady Gaga Back On YouTube But without “SMAP x SMAP” Video
After being taken off YouTube for a while, Lady Gaga’s official YouTube page ‘ladygagaofficial” has been restored once again. The material uploaded by Team-Gaga before the suspension took place, remains untouched, but her “SMAP x SMAP” clip has been deleted by the video sharing website’s management.
No official comment or statement has been issued by either party regarding the deletion of “SMAP x SMAP” video. But according to media reports, the action was taken after Gaga and company uploaded the clip without obtaining its copyrights from Media Interactive Inc., the SMAP show-organizers.
In the now-unavailable video, the pop superstar was shown performing a medley composed of a bunch of her hits, including “Born This Way”, “The Edge of Glory” and “You and I.”
The “SMAP x SMAP” deletion would not go down well with Mother Monster, who was very excited to share it with her brigade of Little Monsters. Before it was uploaded on YouTube, she had tweeted, “My performance+cooking show appearance on SMAP SMAP is airing now in Japan. Kawaii Monsters!”
The Born This Way crooner has multiple accounts on YouTube, so the suspension of one wouldn’t have hurt her fans too much. However, the other major account in her name titled ‘ladygagavevo’ is not under her own control and is actually run by Sony Entertainment and Universal Music Group.
