‘Glee: Live in Concert’ trailer debuts [video]

If you’re one of the untold army of ‘Gleeks,’ do we have a treat for you! – The ‘Glee Live in Concert 3D’ movie is due out next month and here’s your first chance to get a sneak gleek peek:

The movie covers the show’s recent North American tour and even includes footage of Gwyneth Paltrow trying to sing, but the star of this promo is surely Jane Lynch.

Swathed in a track-suit Jane channels Roger Ebert and gives us her best movie advice: “Please, save your money,” she says. “This thing sucks.”

And if inverse marketing like that doesn’t get the fans standing three-deep in line, nothing will.

The film is also a historical record as it may be our last chance to see Chris Colfer, Corey Monteith and Lea Michele in the cast. Show boss, Ryan Murphy just cut them all loose and gave fans no idea where they might show up next.

The movie opens on August 12 for a special two-week run…though you can bet your last dollar that will be ‘specially extended’ once those in charge see the crowds.
