Casey Anthony facing lawsuit from daughter’s ‘dad’
Just when you probably thought the Casey Anthony case couldn’t have any more twists, a convict in South Carolina is now claiming to be the late 2-year old Caylee Anthony’s dad.
The inmate, Christopher Umberger has provided no proof of his claim so far but is insisting he takes a DNA test to prove he is the father of Caylee. Should the test prove that’s the case he then intends to sue Casey for killing their child.
Throughout her trial Casey had insisted the father died in a car crash several years ago, before Caylee’s death.
And there’s more intrigue – During the case Casey told police a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez had been Caylee’s nanny and it was she who took Caylee away. Gonzalez denies ever meeting Casey or her child and she’s now suing Casey for defamation.
The whole case is also in turmoil at present as the Judge, Jose Rodriguez quit today with no explanation. Now the entire case is on hold until a new can be assigned.
Casey is currently scheduled to walk free from her current home in an Orlando jail sometime on Sunday, but she may then have to undergo questioning from Umberger’s lawyers sometime next week.
Should Umberger’s claims be proved right he could sue Casey for the death of their child, and that would put the 25-year old mother right back in court.
What might happen then can only be guessed…

I think anyone who writes a book or have this killer on TV is a fool and i hope your rateing gose down, you know the girl don’t know the truth.No mother would wait 31 days to report it,and who knows how long she would wait if it wasn’t for her mother.It makes me sick that anyone would pay for her lies knowing justice wasn’t done for little Caylee.
i wuld neva give dat murder money 2 talk wat she needs 2 do iz just tell da truth and get on with lyfe even though dis will b on her back 4 da rest of her lyfe
just another example of our legal system failing us once again. Makes you wonder what kind of people out there are getting put on jury duty. Even if she did or didnt do it she is responsible for that child (I THINK SHE DID) we do have laws for neglagence!

It is a shame that HLN has dedicated 24/7 to villify Casey Anthony. Although she is perhaps the most hated woman in all of USA (thanks to HLN), the case against her was heard by a jury and she was cleared, that should be enough for most places on earth, it is in the countriies interest to move on, unless you subscribe to the “Dummiefication of America” by following HLN. Should something happen to Casey, you can bet HLN will get sued , the Casey look-alike person attacked yesterday in Texas is already planning a lawsuit against HLN.
