Is Channing Tatum’s New Bald Look for Next “G.I. Joe” Movie?

Actor Channing Tatum has shaved his head completely and that is being taken as a sign that he will reprise the character of Duke/Conrad Hauser in the next G.I. Joe movie “G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes.”

Tatum was pictured in his hairless look when he was spotted in Beverly Hills, California earlier this week. The Public Enemies star wore a black t-shirt and jeans and was carrying a backpack on his shoulder at the time. He then slightly posed for the photographer to take his picture before moving on.

So far, neither Tatum nor his representatives have confirmed whether the bald look has been adopted for G.I. Joe project.

However, the rumor mill has been fuelled from the fact that the other G.I. Joe star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has also gone completely bald. Unlike Tatum, the former pro-wrestler has confirmed that work on “G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes” is underway.

He posted a message on social networking website Twitter, which reads, “Long day of prep for GI Joe. Special Forces fatigues look strong. Time for Don Julio and new episode of Hard Time.”

The “G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra” sequel will be directed by Jon M. Chu, who also has Justin Bieber’s debut “Never Say Never” to his credit. Apart from rehiring The Rock and Tatum, the G.I. Joe franchise has also added newcomers Adrianne Palicki, Lee Byung Hun, RZA and Ray Stevenson to the roster.
