Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga to headline huge Vegas concert
With her return to American Idol finally assured, Jennifer Lopez has announced yet another performance – Together with Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, Sting and several other performers she’ll be taking part in what’s being billed as the biggest concert in radio history.
Hosted by Clear Channel Radio, J-Lo will form part of a star-speckled line-up at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on September 23-24 for the ‘iHeartRadio Music Festival,’ hosted by J-Lo’s friend and fellow Idol, Ryan Seacrest.
“This is a once-in-a-generation gathering of artists for a true, must-see music event,” Ryan told THR. “The festival will showcase top artists across all genres of music. Listeners from all over America will travel to Las Vegas and see the greatest musicians in the world on one stage.”
Other stars due to wow the fans include Coldplay, The Black Eyed Peas, Kenny Chesney, John Mayer, and American Idol will not be left out – Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are set to appear, and popular judge Steven Tyler will also be there.
And Ryan assured the reporters more stars will be announced over the Summer as contracts are confirmed. Tickets go on sale on July 16, but you can pre-order now on the show’s Facebook page.
