Stalker Forces Paris Hilton to Beef Up Home Security
According to media reports, celebrity Paris Hilton has upped the surveillance level and the number of security personnel at her condo in Malibu, California, after a male stalker was arrested by the local police outside the celebutante’s residence earlier this week.
The stalker identified as James Rainford, was taken in custody by the deputies of Los Angeles County Sheriff, after he was found peeping into the Hilton residence. Hilton was home at that time and witnessed the whole incident from the top of her balcony.
This isn’t the first time when Rainford has been caught in or around Hilton’s residence. On October 10 last year, he was found lurking inside the hotel heiress’ Los Angeles house and was apprehended after picking a fight with Hilton’s security entourage.
Earlier this year on April 10, Hilton’s offender assaulted her ex-beau Cy Waits. As a result, he was jailed for 227 days and forbidden from going within 200 yards of Hilton or her residence. After serving 24 days of his prison term, he was released on account of good behavior, but his latest antics have landed him in jail once again, as he was in clear violation of his restraining order.
Hilton, who according to TMZ’s sources, wasn’t a security-conscious person before this stalking incident, has now added a new quartet of bodyguards and also installed a new high-tech surveillance system to her residence, including a set of motion detectors and cameras.
