Lady A singer Hillary Scott engaged to Edens Edge’s drummer

The band has confirmed the rumors on their official website: there’s one less from the Lady Antebellum trio you’ll be able to get your hands on.

Hillary Scott, 25, recently got engaged over the July 4th weekend. The lucky man? None other than fellow musician and Edens Edge’s drummer Chris Tyrell, 24. They both met on Tim McGraw’s tour in 2010.

Like in true country fashion, Tyrell got down on one knee during the July4th sunset in Tennessee.

“Chris proposed exactly the way I’ve always dreamed,” Scott shared exclusively with People. “Our families were close by, but it was just us out on a beautiful deck overlooking a lake in East Tennessee. We had just been on a hike and – in our workout clothes – he hit the knee! We feel so blessed by God that He sent us each other, and we are looking so forward to forever together!”

Tyrrell, who has toured with Lady Antebellum, Love and Theft and Josh Kelley – the brother of Scott’s bandmate Charles, is currently on tour with Edens Edge’s on Brad Paisley’s summer tour.
