Cousin of Nicki Minaj murdered in Brooklyn

As if the scandal over Amber Rose and the leak of nude pictures wasn’t stressful enough it’s being reported that Nicki Minaj is now enduring a death in the family. Her cousin was killed.

27-year old Nicholas, whose friends called him ‘Juse’ was found dead in Brooklyn last night. And Nicki seems understandably crushed;

“My cousin Nicholas. Also goes by Juse, or @brolicalcoholic Murdered last nite. Lived in Brooklyn his whole life. My precious cousin. My baby. Killed last nite.” she told her Twitter fans.

Some of her 4.15-million followers were quick to send notes of support:

“Sending love & prayers to you and your family,” wrote American Idol’s Jordin Sparks.

The NYPD’s report says 27-year-old Nicholas Telemaque died at around 2:40am on July 4th in East Flatbush, Brooklyn from “multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.”

Nicki is currently on tour with Britney Spears and it’s not clear if she may leave the show for a while to make arrangements for her young cousin’s funeral.
