Exactly two years to the day since the world lost Michael Jackson reports are emerging that fans queuing for a tour of the home rented by the singer during his time in Las Vegas have been subjected to gun play.

Witnesses report multiple gun shots were fired approximately 3 doors away from the $3-million, 15,000-SqFt mansion.

Jackson moved to Arizona in 2004 after Police investigating child abuse allegations invaded his Neverland Ranch, but since his death in 2009 the home has been empty. Today, the residence was hosting a group of fans waiting to pay their respects on what is the second anniversary of his death.

As officers approached the source of the disturbance one was attacked by a dog, but the dog was quickly subdued. Early reports suggested the animal – a 50lb Pit Bull – was killed by police, but these were wrong. The dog was shot to subdue it but was later transported to a local vet and will soon be released.

No further details are available yet.
